When we walked into the Mazda dealership we were immediately greeted by Matthew Radeff. He was very professional and friendly. He patiently listened to... our needs and showed us exactly what we wanted. We did not do a lot of research prior to coming but Matt explained all the different models to us. He stayed almost 2 hours past closing to finalize our purchase. We are beyond satisfied with the experience. Before we walked into Mazda we initially went to Volvo next door and were not even greeted by the sellers. One walked up to us without even saying a word. We had to greet him. After the seller made it clear he had no interest in spending even a minute with us we left and went to Montrose Mazda where we met Matt. We started the day considering purchasing a Volvo and ended it with purchasing a 2018 Mazda CX-5 Touring with package. Kindness and professionalism goes a long way.
I came into Montrose Mazda looking at options for my next lease. I had 1 month left on my lease and made it clear that I wasn't going to be paying... for 2 cars at once. The salesman, which I won't publicly name, told me that I will be refunded for my final car payment lease if I begin a new lease. That didn't sway me but then the sales manager said this deal that Mazda is doing now won't last long so you should consider a new lease. The numbers for my new lease were perfect so I decided to start a new lease. A month went by with no sign of my refund from my last lease's last payment. I decided to call the salesman and ask where it was. His response was "it takes between 45 and 90 days". I followed up with him, calling at 2 and 3 months. The response was the same, that it takes a while and don't worry it will come. Fast forward to now - when the bank sent me a final bill for my lease. I asked about the refund and was told that deal had to be made through the dealership because "we would never do that". So I call the salesman and he told me he never promised that. The reason I am not naming him is because the sales manager's service was equally as horrible. This place will never receive another dime from me. Take your business somewhere else. A place where words actually mean something, and dirty sales tactics don't exist! PS. I should of had a feeling that this would all go south during the sales process. After I signed my new lease, the salesman asked that I submit a questionnaire that Mazda requires each customer to fill out. He said Mazda makes us ask the customers to fill out these questionnaires to make sure we don't lie or pressure the sale.
A big shout out to all the staff, especially Jason and Mark at Montrose Mazda for the very easy car buying situation. Those guys are one of a kind.
