I just recently purchased a 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander from a private party I found out that there were multiple recalls on the car I took it to Schall...er to get them addressed the man was miserable at the service desk made me feel like I was inconveniencing him by bringing my car in and was told I would have to pay upwards of $600 to get one recall fixed my understanding of a recall is that the dealership fixes it for free. The buying process was ok, once my family came into the dealership and started to crawl around the show cars, that got people moving. I recently bro...ught the car in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. Stood at the service window for 7 minutes until someone walking through told me to go into the service bay to talk to the guy who was watching me most of the time. Asked, How long for the service, since I have a one year old child with me. Told an hour to an hour and a half. It took 2 hours and 45 minutes, with me checking in twice and being told another 10 minutes, which turned into another hour long wait. I want to thank the lady inside the dealership who finally came into the waiting room and gave my daughter some snacks. The waiting room lacked any real comfort and the service tech who deals with check in seemed like he could care less and it was a nuisance to have to deal with customers. I will never use the dealership again. I will travel to a different dealership if there are any recalls for the vehicle, which is a 2014 silver Outlander.
