    We drove 2.5 hours for a 2009 Saturn Outlook XR we saw on cars.com on a Friday afternoon. We were greeted by friendly faces and after a test drive, we bought a GREAT car at a fantastic price, well below what it is valued at. Plus, we got more than we thought we'd get for our trade-in! No hassles, no issues - I definitely recommend taking the drive over to Poughkeepsie to see the guys at Mazda of Poughkeepsie on Rte. 9.

    This is the first time we have dealt with Mazda of Poughkeepsie and I have to say it was a pleasant experience.. We dealt with Mike Weiss and Danny T. The were both very helpful with our lease and in the end we reached a fair price for what we are getting. We walked away very happy. I would highly recommend Mazda of Poughkeepsie.

    My husband and I purchased a used car for our 17 year old son here. I picked the car up with my son on a Thursday and while driving home the check engine light came on and when we pulled into the driveway the car shutoff. My son drove the car the next morning to school and on his way home the car shutoff while he was on Rt. 82. He is a new driver and inexperienced. He had to pull hard on the steering wheel when he realized the car shut off. Thankfully he was able to get to the side of the rode. Thank God nothing happened to him. Rt. 82 is a busy road and cars and trucks go fast. The used car manager came to pick the car up. After checking out the car we were told the intake hose had a crack in it and they replaced it. I wasn't happy about the situation but we took the car back. A week later my son was at his High School for Baseball Tryouts and when he went to leave at 9pm at night the car would not start my husband and I went to the school to give him a jump start but it did not work. I called our insurance company and had the roadside assistance tow the car back to Mazda. I called an told the used car manager that I was not taking the vehicle back. We cannot worry every time our son drives this car that he will be unsafe. I was told that the issue this time was with the battery cables and that it was fixed and the car is fine. I should have never taken the car back after the first issue. To think what could have happened to our son if things had turned out different. You can replace a car but I cannot replace my child. The general manager said that we could come in and check out another car they just got in that was in the same price range. We went up to the dealer and test drove the car and we were not interested. We wanted our money back. After going back and forth we were informed that they will give us a refund. We were told to come to pick up the check and when we got there the GM was not there and no check. This went on for two weeks. Then we were told we needed to bring in the title which we did not receive until this past Monday. My husband signed the title and gave the keys back and still not check. Called and left message with no return call. I was told that the check would be ready for pickup today. Went there on my lunch hour to be told that the GM was not there and no check. Aggravated is an understatement. I told the sales person to let the GM know that I would be back after I got out of work for a check. I don't care who was writing it or where they were getting it from but it better be there when I come back. My husband called me while I was on my way back to work and he said that he received a call that the check was ready. I turned around and went back and they miraculously found someone who could write me a check. We picked up the car March 2, 2017 and today is April 7, 2017. Our son has been without a car, he paid for a parking pass from a local place as he is a Junior and cannot park on campus. I will NEVER again do business with Mazda of Poughkeepsie.

    Unprofessional, rude and thieves. I put a down payment on a vehicle with no paperwork and after calling to let them know I would be picking up the vehicle I was told it was covered in snow and needed to be shoveled out. I was told it would be ready to be picked up in a few days. Unsatisfactory to me, I called the salesperson back to say I needed my money refunded, he told me that the manager would be calling me back. He did call back, rude and professional. In his exact words, "That's our money now, so yeah whatever and by the way we love a legal battle ". Unscrupulous, disgusting.

    I purchased a used car here with low miles. The salesperson was adequate, friendly but took a long time to get a response from him. I picked the car up and it was pretty filthy inside. There was even a large white chunk on the center of the steering wheel of what looked like dried frosting. I looked on the photos they had on their website and you can even see the ???frosting??? on the steering wheel in that. Oh well, I can clean the car out. Also, the car did not come with keyless remote entry even though it was listed as highlighted features on their web site. I brought that up and he was going to look into it. Which just meant get me out the door and then ignore me. When I picked up the car the gas gauge was on E. Two days after receiving the car I went on the Thruway and when I got over 70 the steering wheel started shaking back and forth. I contacted the salesperson and he did not offer any help, only told me to go to a car wash because snow may be in the suspension. I told him I already checked that and it is something else. He proceeded to ignore me from then on. I had to take the car elsewhere, luckily it was only the balancing, but still I had to pay $65 on a car that I just picked up.

    I purchased my car on Aug 2, 2016. The selling price was 26,900. Something didn't feel right about the whole transaction so I reviewed my paperwork. They charged me 29,560 plus a $2000 service warranty, which they never sent the service company. They owe me $2600 and will do nothing about it. They did, however, pay me back the service contract money, but only because they were forced to. I have called them multiple times, I've reported them to the BBB, who by the way never received a response from Mazda. I've called the Attorney general, and corporate. Nothing has been done. I have the paperwork to prove their mistake. IF I WERE YOU, I WOULD STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS CAR DEALERSHIP! SHAWN GERMANO WAS OUR FINANCE REPRESENTATIVE AND HAS DONE NOTHING TO HELP US, NOR HAS MIKE WEISS. NO ONE EVER CALLS YOU BACK. I WILL NOT GIVE UP UNTIL MY HARD EARNED MONEY IS RETURNED TO ME. Thanks for nothing Mazda!!!!!!

    It would be hard for a dealership to provide a level of service that exceeds what we found in the sales department at Mazda of Poughkeepsie. Mike, Shawn, and especially Dave made us feel more like guests than customers, and they were able to get us the deal that we wanted on our new car.

    Earlier this week, I took my 2009 Mazda CX-9 to MOP to have them address a seized brake caliper condition. I was extremely impressed with both the awesome customer service I received from both Matt and Daniel, as well as the quality of the repair provided while at this facility. I live in NJ, and did not know of any regular garages in the area that I could trust, so I elected to take my business to the local Mazda dealership. I am so glad that I did!! Daniel and Matt provided me with immediate attention, and had my vehicle evaluated immediately. Daniel also checked the recall history for my vehicle and uncovered some outstanding critical recall work that was due for the front end suspension. I was surprised, as we frequent the local dealership in NJ but had not been previously advised. The car was turned around same day, which was very helpful, as we were otherwise stuck with spending the night. My daughter attends Marist College, and was using the car when the brakes had seized. I feel confident that I can send her to MOP in the future and that she can expect to receive high quality service. I am grateful for the recall work performed, as I expect my daighterwould have been badly injured, perhaps even killed if the front end fell off while she was driving to school.
