Great Experience

I had a great experience purchasing my pickup. Everyone was very nice and professional. Kinkaid, my salesman, is an easy going laid back salesman that is one of the best I have every worked with. I give him 5 stars. The sales manager was a pleasure to deal with as well.

Sent me home with bad brakes

Buying at Romeo was a good experience. We went in, found what we wanted (a new Buick Encore GT) test drove it and paid cash all in the same day. The saleswoman was nice and pleasant to work with until the customer satisfaction survey was sent out. I gave her a 4 out of 5 star review and then she sent me a nasty text message telling me how I cost her a bonus by not giving her a 5 out of 5. Six months into owning my car and my brakes go out, it turns out its due to a set of recalls. I take the car in, they only have parts for one recall. They send me home and my brakes go out 3 more times. I call and they won't give me a loaner and just shrug off the entire issue of sending me home with bad brakes. I dont regret buying this vehicle, I just regret buying it at this dealership. During the buying process we were told how great the service department was and once they got their money they completely stopped caring. Don't go to this dealer, find another G. dealer.

Terrible Service: Lied to, and Taken Advantage Of

**TERRIBLE - AVOID AT ALL COSTS** Where do I start with this horrible experience? After finding a truck online that was attractive, I drove the 2.5 hours to Lake Katrine, NY to visit Romeo Chevy Buick GMC. They allowed me to test drive the vehicle alone; a positive given the current state of the pandemic. Once I returned to the dealership, the Sales Manager asked for a price I was comfortable with and I gave him one (~$2500 under MSRP). They said that they could not accommodate that, and I left. A different Sales Manager called me two days later and we ironed out a deal, and I submitted a $1000 deposit on the vehicle. We agreed that there would be maintenance performed on the truck and that some aftermarket accessories would be installed before delivery. Cut to: the morning of delivery. The dealership calls to tell me that the truck is on the road, but that they did not perform all of the maintenance we had agreed to. Strike One. The GM gets on the phone and says that if I absolutely want this to be performed (it was part of the deal), he would reimburse me for the service. I asked for that to be in writing via email. The email never came. Because the dealership is based in New York, and I would be registering the truck in Massachusetts, I scheduled a pre-purchase emissions inspection at a service station close to the RMV. Unfortunately, the truck does not pass the Massachusetts state emissions inspection. I bring this to the attention of the dealership, and they agree to "cut [me] a check for $800 if you take it to the RMV right now and get it registered". Again, I ask for that to be in writing via email. The email never came. After refusing the delivery due to the emissions issue, I attempted to contact the Sales Agent and Sales Manager I was working with to work out a deal and close on the vehicle. Both were slow to respond and said that they were "attempting to work it out with the owner". After finally getting the Sales Manager on the phone, he informs me that the truck has SOLD... WITH MY AFTERMARKET ACCESSORIES ON IT. No notice, and apparently a deposit means NOTHING to this dealership. But then I see that the truck had recently been re-posted for sale to Facebook no more than 2-hours from the time I called. After speaking to the Internet Manager, she confirms the truck is STILL AVAILABLE. Not sold, no new owner, still has my parts on it and they still have my deposit. I don't know where they hired this team, or how they're taught to do business, but I would HIGHLY SUGGEST you shop elsewhere. Unless you're into being jerked around, lied to, and taken advantage of. In that case, Romeo Chevrolet Buick GMC is the place for you!

Your black emblems cost has been refunded to you via check cut on 12/2/2020 2. Your $1000 deposit has been credited back to your credit card PRIOR to your comments 3. The vehicle passed NYS Inspection. We had our driver drive the vehicle to Massachusetts to have the inspection done where it did not pass. You now insist on $800 discount which we will not give. So we will not sell you our vehicle. 4. Now you are trying to still purchase the vehicle by demanding us to pay to have it pass Massachusetts inspection by demanding us to pay $1305.37 (take off the selling price). 5. We will not be bullied by you posting to all the review sites you are currently posting to (and reporting to the Better Business Bureau) and telling us you will not remove these detrimental posts unless we give you the $1305.37 and sell you the truck. Here's your exact words, "If this deal is contingent upon my removal of the dealer reviews on DealerRater, Edmunds, and with the Better Business Bureau of New York, Romeo Chevrolet Buick GMC would have to cover the expected cost of labor and parts to convert the exhaust system back to GM stock, totaling $1,305.37 (as quoted by Bedard Chevrolet of Pittsfield, MA) and remove that cost from the overall purchase price." We are a respectable dealership and chose not to do business with you. CAR DEALERSHIPS BEWARE, do not do business with KRIS D. LYNDS

Shopping at a dealership that considers your needs in selecting a auto, instead of just making a sale . Then shop at Romeo GMC, Buick and Chevy!!! I have also used their service department and give it a 5 star rating, see Joe Sanford!!!

Bought a used car

Bought my Kia Sorento and it was fast and easy and not stressful at all! Customer service was great phenomenal, thank to Elise who helped me and got me setup. I was definitely satisfied with my purchase

Overall a very pleasant experience

David at Romeo was friendly and had all of my paperwork ready. He was extremely helpful in taking care of my needs over the phone and via email given the Covid-19 pandemic doesn?t allow for much in person business handling. He was extraordinarily sincere and helpful before the sale, during paperwork signing and after the transaction was completed.

Chevy volt

Had a good experience and they respected that I had researched the vehicle on line. The salesperson, Clair, was personable, accurate, and did a great job without pressure.
