I scheduled an appointment for my first oil change through the email Spirit Ford sent me for the next week. When I arrived, I was turned away! Apparently... their online scheduling does not work. That?s why they sent me the email asking me to schedule service??

This place is terrible. Their estimates DONT ADD UP MATHEMATICALLY. When we pointed this out the first time they gave us a 200$ credit. I got another... estimate on work and the math didn't add up correctly but it was only a 500$ fix. No biggie. Welp of coarse they called me back and said that they miscalculated and it would be 200$ more... Kinda fishy since we had a 200$ credit. It truly says something when your customers of 4 or 5years decide not to use the balance of credit due to the lack of trust. We are done! Also they changed my dash to metrics, lost my center wheel plate, and lugg-nuts fell off after one of our services.

My car broke down on a Thursday, 8/2 and I had it towed to Spirit Ford for service. I had to make multiple calls that afternoon to get them to run the... diagnostics on it so that they could determine the problem and give me an eta on obtaining the parts and getting the work done. Each time I talked to the service people(Stephanie and Missy), I was rudely reminded of how I did not have an appointment and that they had to take care of their customers with appointments first. I explained to both of them that I understood that and that I was not asking for them to actually fix the car that day car but I really needed them to run the diagnostic test if all possible, so I would know if I had to make arrangements to rent a car for a trip that I had planned for the next day. My husband called them as well and was given the same attitude. I finally received a call from Missy who told me that the repairs would take at least until Monday to complete. I told her again of my plan to rent a car and I asked her to let me know if there was some chance that the car would be done earlier to please let me know so that I could save money on the rental (I was told the repairs were going to cost me $1800). I was also told previously that there were no loaners available. When I did not hear from her by the next morning, I went ahead and made the reservation for rental car. We picked it up that afternoon and shortly thereafter I received a call from Missy telling me that my car was done and ready to be picked up. I asked her why she had not let me know that morning that the parts had come in and that they had started work on the car early. I explained to her that I had just spent nearly $400 on a rental car that I did not need. Her response was, "Oh,gotcha. So you can pick it up any time." My husband called the service manager, Terry, to complain and did not receive the courtesy of a call back. He called him again yesterday and was told there was nothing they could do to compensate us for the rental. He escalated our complaint to the general manager, Bill Colovos who I spoke to and he told me that our request to be compensated for all or part of the rental car charge was absurd and that no g.m. in his right mind would do such a thing. He kept insisting that I was asking them to pay me for getting the car done early. I corrected him each time and told him I was asking him to reimburse me for a rental car that I would have never gotten had his service department done there due diligence and made a simple phone call. I told him that I would also like to be compensated for the poor way that I was treated by his service department and that both Stephanie and Missy were more concerned with chastising me about expecting to be treated like a human being without having an appointment first, than they were about listening to my dilemma and actually caring about getting back to me. He said he would look into that but refused to take any money off of the bill for poor customer service.
