I submitted a used car inquiry online and within 48 hours Joe Wilson located a used vehicle available within our modest price range. He called us to the dealership and took us for a test drive and shortly thereafter we purchased the vehicle on the spot with no haggling. If I could offer one recommendation it would be that when the customer says 'no, thank you' at the very outset when the Finance rep offers the wide choices of 'extra' packages and maintenance programs available to the consumer [*particularly* if the customer purchases a used vehicle as 'as-is' with cash up front]; to accept the 'no, thank you' the first time and not come back on four different occasions with variations of the same thing [which is what happened to us]. That was very annoying; and the only aspect of our buying experience that was upleasant.

This is the second brand new truck I’ve bought and they made the process so quick and easy.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Pat McGrath Chevrolet in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I am happy to say that every step in the car buying process from this location was a delight. I have many great things to say about the entire staff whom I worked worth from McGrath, and in particular I would like to highlight Elijah Loney. From my initial inquiry on a possible purchase all the way to taking delivery of my beautiful new car, Elijah was a shining example of what customer service is all about. Elijah was always available and on top of every aspect of the car buying process. I reside in Connecticut and I must confess that I had apprehensions about making a purchase all the way across the country. Well let me say to anyone feeling unsure, as I have said to many of my friends back home, do not let distance detour you from doing business with McGrath. I spoke with numerous members of the McGrath team daily throughout the process to the point where I feel like they are my friendly neighborhood dealership. My review is for the service center mostly. The communication is horrible. No one answers the phone or calls or texts back. My car has been in 4 days because of this. I can't get a hold of anyone to give any direction on what I want repaired. I shouldn't even need to be having repairs since I just bought the car from them a month and a half ago and have had needed two repairs already. So I'm not sure what the point of having a pre buying inspection, since it obviously didn't catch anything or it just wasn't documented correctly. Nevertheless, McGrath won't pay or discount anything. I wanted a reliable car but I still have as many car problems with this car as with my previous car. I probably should have just kept it. This car has been one problem after another. I am very unhappy with my service here!

Didn't get to look at cars, was basicaly assigned one that wasn't on my list. And was never explained the $7000 extra Charges.

Enjoyed working with Daniel Cole and Shawn Ritchie to get a decent deal on my 2021 Chevy Trailblazer LT AWD. Was definately a step up from my previous vehicle. Every question I had during negotiations and finalizing the deal were answered so I didnt feel pressured to make a sale. I have bought many vehicles from the Mcrazth dealerships over the years and hope to work with them in the future. Thanks!!
