We began our search online for an Explorer ST and contacted a few dealerships looking to work with. From the time that Matt Harper contacted my wife and I to begin finding us the right ST, to talking over the phone with us, and us finally coming over to test drive, he was nothing but professional. He sent us photos and kept communication with us through the whole process. When it came time to talk details, Steve in finance was nothing but helpful. Matt and Steve made the trip for us driving 2 hours to find the right ST for us worth while. We would recommend Plainwell Ford, along with Matt and Steve to anyone looking to get professional service and finding the right vehicle for them anytime.

Car was sold from under us

My wife and I finally came to and agreement with zeigler on a 2016 Rubicon. we had a buy/sell agreement and got the check for the jeep and had insurance on it. W hen we went to pick it up we noticed rust on the tailgate. We were told that they would knock $500 off the price. I asked our salesman to see if their body shop could replace the tailgate instead of giving us the money off, we were told he was checking into it, the next morning I got a text telling me the jeep had been sold for full asking price. This is very unethical business practices in my eyes since the full ask was about $3000 more than our agreement. When I contacted the used car sales manager his attitude was "oh well". he told me we did not sign the buy/sell even though we agreed to it and had it sent to our credit union. We were very disappointed at the way they do business. NEVER, NEVER again.

Great experience!

This was one of the best car buying experiences ever! I left my info on the car I was interested in online, and got a text within the hour. I set up an approximate time togo in to see the car the next day, and was pleasantly surprised by the speed and efficiency that everything was handled. Even though they were quite busy, I had test driven, looked over, and reached an agreeable price on my "new to me" Nissan Murano. We all know that it isn't always that easy, especially for a female looking alone, but I was treated with respect and as a knowledgable person who knew what I wanted and could afford. A big Thank You to Rob Caro and team for a job well done!

Best car buying experience ever

I don't even know where to start Bad credit, little down..I went on line and looked at their website never dreaming I could get financed. Jacob Sweeney was amazing he got me into a better vehicle than what I was looking at. I didn't have a vehicle so I did everything via email and text. When it was time for me to sign paperwork they sent a driver to pick me up . I love an hour away from the dealership. Met with Steve in finance signed all the paperwork and drove my car home. If you need a good vehicle I recommend you go see them. I can't say enough about how awesome they are

Worst GM ever.

This was a big purchase for us. Terrible Terrible people. The GM of all is the worst. He did not want to put a used motor 8n our truck after a tech didn't put oil in it as he did the oil change. A newer truck they put in a used motor from a junk yard out of a wrecked truck. The G.M is the worst person ever.

Zeigler-Fatwin Sweepstakes - SCAM!

I was sent a misleading sweepstakes in the mail from Zeigler Plainwell that featured a "winning" ticket for $10,000. It turns out that it was a predatory scam tactic to get people into their store - and only resulted in a "chance" to win a prize (and not the one shown on the form). I would highly suggest staying away from this predatory institution, and any other that would knowingly send out scams such as this.

Recently took my 2017 F450 to Zeigler ford Plainwell for a yearly D.O.T. certification. Took their service department over 3 weeks to complete. Upon picking up truck I discovered the steering wheel off center 45 degrees to the left. The service advisor stated they were unable to do a front end alignment after they replaced a ball joint. They still charged me for it. I then had to take the truck to Wonderland Tire to have a professional computer alignment done correctly. They stated the front alignment was so far off that it would have ruined the front tires had I not brought it in to be corrected. If you want your vehicles repaired correctly do not go to Harold Zeigler Plainwell. They are incompetent and unprofessional. Take it to a qualified mechanic. Paul Hamlin
