I recently had my 10 year old Chevy sedan in the shop, primarily for problems with the front defrost (NOT something you want problems with in Idaho winters).... With all their fancy diagnostics, the "technicians" were unable to find a problem. A ten-minute ride with two or more people in 20-degree weather would have shown there is definitely a problem. I had the shop also look at a couple of other simple problems and tell me what it would cost to fix, but after failing in the defrost department, I didn't want them touching anything else. The bill for their failed attempt to diagnose the defrost and for bidding the other problems (which they claimed to "diagnose," but didn't tell me anything I didn't already know) was ridiculous. With NOTHING fixed, they billed me over $200, with no budging when I protested. I'm disgusted and won't bring my business there again. Nor should you, my opinion.
I was looking on line and the salesman text me and emailed me saying that if I had any questions not to hesitate to get a hold of him. I have bought one... car from them before and warren was awesome
Prompt, courteous and effective service. My experience with this dealership has always been favorable from the day I purchased my Car until the present.
I didn't have an appointment on a Saturday for and oil change, called in and they got me right in. Quick service and great staff.
Michael changed my oil and had my car washed. They all did a great job!
Thank you so much Jenny for rating your experience.
Thank you for the use of the truck while mine was being serviced. As for the fix, so far so good. Two other things, one for Smiths, and one for Chevy.... First there is significant room for communications improvement. It would appear that calls routed to service from the main number go to a cell - at least that's my impression - and often to someone that is on leave, sick, whatever. I am still two for two on separate days leaving messages WITHOUT any call back....I call back to get an open response. For Chevy, through my experience at Smiths, Taylor, and extensive research on-line, the oil usage/loss issue with the '09 Z71 is so prevalent that I am discouraged that GM still considers it less than an issue to address themselves. Based on my '09 truck experience with persistent "sensors etc, the oil issue", I would not buy another Chevy. Your service to make things right and the performance of the loaner '15 buy some points, but the jury is still out.
Thank you Brian for your rating. We do apologize for the phone issues. We hope that we have worked those out by now. Above all, we are also very disap...pointed in the fact that you are have this oil loss issue. Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org, we would like to further address this issue.
The salesman and manager were very helpful and knowledgeable. They even stayed almost 2 hours after close to help me with my purchase. Excellent service!... We will return for future purchases and will recommend smith's to everyone. Thank you! John and Delsa Doherty
I was very pleased with Paris. He was very knowledgeable about the cars and answered all my questions. He listened and addressed all my concerns about... buying a new vehicle as I was very nervous about making such a big purchase. The whole team who helped me was wonderful....Thank You all so much
It was great to show up and get my oil changed in my Tahoe. You guys went through your check list and were not pushy on fixing anything I didn't need to... get done..
I had an issue with the final billing for service done on my 11 Cruze. I feel Jade went well beyond the extra mile to resolve the issue. I have passed... this excellent customer service experience to several of my friends who were quite impressed also.
