Out of town buyers beware!!

Made an appt for early am on a Monday and asked dealership to call me at end of business Saturday to verify that the Subaru was still available. Call received and appointment verified Saturday. Left at 6am Monday for the nearly 4 hour drive to Dahl Subaru and upon arrival saw our name on a display board with our appt time listed. We were then told that they sold the Crosstrek on Saturday and it was the only one they had in stock. My wife and I took vacation time to drive there to purchase and spent nearly 8 hours total in the car. Wasted time, gas and mileage that should have been avoided with someone simply verifying that the car was actually available at the end of business Saturday. What did they offer for our trouble? An apology and a $25 gas card. Can't leave zero stars so they received one. That one star can represent Heather in customer care who responded with a phone call within minutes of my initial online inquiry and set up but was not responsible for the Saturday call.

I never intended to purchase a vehicle from your company

I never intended to purchase a vehicle from your company and in fact only stopped at the dealership to browse your lineup because my wife thought that they might be an option. As we were parked looking at one vehicle in particular Taylor Beardmore walked up and asked if she could help. So, long story short, we had purchased a new vehicle a few hours later. Taylor and Ashley Price were extremely helpful and more importantly listened to and addressed our needs as we presented them. In fact as we were at the Subaru Dealership ,Taylor actually went across the street to drive over the car that we actually bought. She felt that it was actually exactly what we might be looking for. She was right and my wife and I probably knew it as she was driving it up. So once again long story short, it was actually a very pleasant experience and I absolutely HATE car shopping. So THANK YOU to both Taylor and Ashley

Don't do business with if you value your time

I had called early in the week on Tuesday about a used vehicle that said that it was "in transit" and to call for details, where I had found out that the car was recently acquired and hadn't been inspected or prepared yet, but it should be ready on Thursday, but if I wanted to come in and look at it without test driving and put money down on it I could, which I refused since I wanted to be able to test it before going forward with anything because it is an hour and a half drive to get there. Afterwards it also left me to wonder why it was posted on their website for sale in the first place when it's not available at all yet, but I let it go for now. I had contacted them Thursday to ask about it and they had said again that it wasn't ready yet because parts needed to be replaced on it and that it might be ready Friday or Saturday, but wanted me to come in to look at it and "go over options for holding it" again without being able to test drive it, only sit in it. Come to today, Friday, where they had said that the car went in for detailing and should mean that it'll be ready this afternoon or tomorrow, to which I responded that I could make it there if I left work a little bit early and was asking if I should contact them again before I do that, and didn't get an answer. So close to the time I would have to leave, I let them know that I am leaving to come there, to which I was told "Sounds good!", so I leave, and not even 10 minutes later I get a follow up response that I shouldn't come up there because someone else is already there and ready to purchase it without it being ready for testing, meaning if that person hadn't been there, they would have let me make a 3 hour round trip to come up there just to find that it still wasn't ready for test driving after making it clear twice that I wanted to test drive before making any decision, not just sit in it and look at it.

Dahl has been a supportive dealership for my needs since I purchase a new Ford Taurus back in 2010. They came through for me again in 2023. Their sevice of my vehicles has always been very thorough and saticfactory. I would never hesitate to recommend them or to use them again for any future needs.

Incompetent office staff. All they are concerned about is getting your money. No one really cared if I got title paperwork or not.

Without getting long-winded, take a serious look at Jake and the service department. They take care of you and make a conscious effort to accommodate the customer after experiencing multiple appointments for their work.

I'm feeling uncomfortable over the car purchase we made.

I'm feeling uncomfortable over the car purchase we made. I'm a Chevy person. I wasn't familar with the model and it lacked all the features we had wanted. Plus the sale was very rushed. In the end though I went through with the sale and only time will tell if it was a good choice in a limited market. currently I'm still dealing with buyers remorse for no aparent reason. Initially I did not give it the best review and that was not fair to the sales agent who is an aquaintance of my husbands and I'm sure he would not steer us towards a bad purchase; or the dealership which has a wonderful history of reliable service in our community.
