    When I bought my van 2 years ago no one told me about what certain buttons mean and they never gave me 2 keys for a brand new 2015 dodge caravan. The person doing the paperwork couldn't explain what is covered under the warranty which we soon discovered was nothing.

    I will not be going back to this dealer ever again. The service manager and it's department blew me off multiple times and one issue I had with my car never got fixed because of that. Also they damaged my rims and left oily fingerprints on my rims and on the interior of my car.

    I submitted a question to FX Caprara through Cars.com about a very similar car at a different car dealership, the price was lower and asked about price matching. I never got a response to the question. I ended up purchasing a car from the other dealership since they couldn't take the time to answer my question.

    My wife and I purchased a Honda CRV a couple of weeks ago at this dealership. We performed our normal due diligence and found this dealership to be the best to work with of the five or six we considered. We worked with a salesman named Scott and found him to be personable and efficient. He was able to get us the exact car we wanted without a wait and he addressed our questions patiently and thoroughly. Like most, I don't enjoy much of what is often involved in the car-buying process and this time we had a trade to factor into the purchase. We had never had to deal with this variable. We were in and out in maybe a little over two hours with the new car. If we go with another Honda I will likely return to this dealership to work specifically with Scott. The dealership is new and just off I-81. So far so good...

    I had to have my Jeep towed to the FX Caprara Jeep service department late on a sunday. I left the key and my contact information in the drop box and called the next day to confirm that they received the keys and saw that my vehicle was in the lot. I was told that the service department was very busy but somebody would look at my Jeep later that day and contact me. I received no call but I understand that things get busy sometimes and waited a few days for the response. I called on Friday and was put on hold and then asked to leave my information and somebody from the service department would contact me. I waited the weekend and called early again the following week and received the same response. I finally got a ride to the shop at the end of that week to see what was going on and was told that my vehicle was on the list to be looked at that day and somebody would contact me later. No call. I sent an email exactly two weeks after I dropped my jeep off and received a call the next day that my engine was shot and I had to replace it. This answer took over 2 weeks to get. I do not doubt the quality of work that this dealership will deliver nor am I saying that the customer service I received was bad, WHEN I finally got to talk to somebody. Any kind of information or a date that somebody would be contacting me or looking at my Jeep would have been helpful but instead I waited 2 weeks, and now another week for the repairs which leaves me with no vehicle for the holiday.

I also talked to the service manager and he said the delay for working on your vehicle was that we had to have authorization from the warranty company before we could start work.     This is to all customers who feel intimidated and dreading going out there shopping for a new or used vehicle. I found that dealership that is Gender Equal!!! No Kidding!!!!!! I had traveled all over NY, searched the Internet within a huge radius with bordering states for at least 6 months to a year. I felt deflated going into dealerships. I had to make a decision my vehicle was almost 10 years old. I had put tons of miles on it. I was fortunate enough that we were introduced to Brad Charlton and Tim Podvin of the FX Caprara KIA Dealership of Watertown NY. I was at a very stressful time in my life as we all can relate. I walked in introduced myself Mr. Charlton(manager) requested Tim to take care of me. They went over and above to make this transaction relaxing and painless. The kicker is I told Tim what I was looking for and it did not happen to be at the FX Kia Dealership it was up the road at their Jeep Dealership. He literally jumped right in my vehicle and away we went. He investigated any incentives, gave me a great trade in, not one bit of haggling. Within 45 minutes I was off and running in my new Grand Cherokee. I would absolutely highly recommend him to any one(no matter what the make or model). I also have been back to their service dept for complete package of undercoating, interior exterior. I thank the whole FX Caprara Team for going over and beyond….. You are all awesome can not Thank You Enough. Much Appreciated, Carol S.
