    I bought a 2008 Ford Explorer from Maritime Ford's used lot. I had all my service done by them for almost 7 years. I replaced my tires with them because they really needed it. I bought a high end pair of Michelin tires (LTX MS2) which were considerably more expensive than the other options but they price matched and I was pretty happy with the replacement. After about 2 months and less than 2,000 miles I was driving with my family to lunch when I got a very sudden flat tire. Once I removed the tire I found a 3" gash in the interrior sidewall. I saw nothing in the road I could've hit and neither did my wife. I took the car to Maritime Ford for what I thought was a warranty issue with the tire. They told me I needed to pay for a new tire ($158) disposal, and balancing. They said I would pay for the tire up front and they might refund me after they sent the faulty tire to michelin for inspection. I reluctantly agreed and let them replace the tire. The whole thing sounded pretty fishy so I called Michelin warranty department and asked how the warranty process should work. Michelin let me know that all Michelin dealers are also qualified tire inspectors and that Martime Ford should inspect the tire on the spot, make a decision, and then cover or not cover the warranty replacement. The whole thing should only take an hour or less. So I returned to Maritime Ford to pick up my replaced tire and shared what I had learned with them. They again said that is not how they do business but agreed to inspect the tire. After a short time they pulled me into that back with the parts manager and told me that I must have hit something in the road. I insisted I did not and things got a little heated. Eventually the parts manager lost her temper with me and acted completely unproffessional. I called Michelin again who said it was my right to get a second opinion which I did from Fleet Farm. The Technician at Fleet Farm immediately concluded it was a manufacuring defect and agreed to replace the tire. I informed Maritime of this and they reluctantly agreed to replace the tire free of charge. Make no mistake though they made sure I knew they were do ME a HUGE favor. In all a 2 hour repair took me almost 7 hours and caused me a huge amount of stress. Even the Michelin warranty department let me know that Maritime Ford was acting completely unproffesional and not following the proper warranty process. I get the feeling they were going to charge me for the tire and then also accept a free tire from Michelin. This is how they treat a long time customer and I was completely dissatisfied. I will not visit them again......EVER!

In regards to your tire issue our policy at the store is to replace at customers request then reimbursed after it is approved from manufacture. We follow these steps because ultimately when it comes to damage like your tire had they are the only ones that can decide if they will cover under warranty. With that said once again I am sorry for any confusion or trouble we may have put you through. We strive to keep all of our customers happy but at times like this where there was some confusion it only hurts what we worked so hard to build with the customer. Thanks again for expressing your concerns and bringing this to our attention.

    We emailed to check on vehicle availability, but I decided to travel the hour drive before hearing back from Maritime. When I got there, I was greeted by Ross, who showed me the vehicle I was curious about. He gave me the keys and told me to enjoy the sunshine on my test drive. We loved the car and ended up purchasing it. I did get a reply on my email by a different salesman and we were concerned about how that would affect sales commissions etc. The coolest thing was how everyone worked so well together. The entire team at Maritime was helpful, supportive and friendly. They were so great to work with! We are VERY happy with the service and friendliness we experienced at Maritime.

    Found the car, got on the phone with Sam and we started talking. Bowed out for a couple of weeks. Back on the phone with Sam again. Sam was more than willing to pick up right where we left off. Contemplated shipping the car but Sam wanted me to see the car before in bought it. Arrived by plane. The car was everything Sam said it was. Staff was great. Everyone liked my boots. (Sam wants a pair). We closed the deal, did the paper work and i was on my way. Would make the trip again. And really enjoying the car. 2014 Lincoln MKT. Kodiak brown with hazelnut interior.

    I would like to thank your service department for great care they have taken to ensure my vehicle was fixed properly. I have had issues in the past with other Ford dealerships on service problems that made me nervous to return. The way I was treated here renewed my faith in ford again. I feel I have found a reliable place to have all my vehicles serviced from now on. Because of my experience Maritime Ford will be the first place I consider when looking for my next vehicle.     My wife and I recently purchased a 2013 F150 XLT Super Crew. We weren't sure what we truly wanted, the day prior we walked out of signing on a different brand from a different dealer because it just didn't feel right. Sam and the rest of the team were friendly and extremely accommodating to mine and my wife's schedule and mindsets. We went in with two trucks we were looking at, only to be shown a different one that fit us better; and let me tell you, it sure did. We fell in love with it from the moment we sat in it. Having a staff who is honest and as friendly as the members we dealt with is what'll keep us going back.

    I bought a Toyota Highlander, '06. The dealer. Sam, was very positive. He showed me the good points about the SUV. the SUV was very clean, and well taken care of. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Troy who did all the paper work helped me by explaining everything to me. When Sam wasn't there, the lady dealeer was very helpful. It was a very wonderful experience. The best ever!!! :)
