Around this area there are few places who knows how to work on BMW's and fewer that has the required tools and expertise to do it right the first time.... Other shops might be cheaper, but you get what you pay for. I figured this out the hard way... Dealing with good honest people, and having repairs done right the first time at Grand Blanc Motorcars, is why I trust them with my vehicles!
I signed up for the appointment online and received no confirmation. I went for the time I had scheduled anyway and had no problems at all. The service... staff was friendly and helpful. I can recommend the service department thus far but cannot recommend the dealership as a whole as the sales weasels lied to me when I went in looking at vehicles. But then again what car salespeople don't lie through their capped teeth?

I received a recall notice for my X3 concerning air bags not deploying in the mail in December 2018 showing the closest dealer was grand blanc. I phoned... them citing the recall notice and took it in for the scheduled appointment. (January 30, 2019 ) Service said it was a four hour job but I said I would wait for it. After 3 hours I was told they don’t carry the faulty part and it would have to be ordered . February 11 th I checked on the item delivery and was told by the bmw service manager it would be 2 more days. On March 7 I checked again without a reply. On March 28 I checked again, no answer. On April 15 the vehicle was in a collision with severe front end damage. The tear down estimate was over $10,000. Funny thing was the air bag DID NOT DEPLOY. Now, you can deduce your own conclusions about grand Blanc BMW service or driving a car with a recall notice or BMW products in general but I am going to busy checking on all the class action lawsuits against BMW and their dealers.
Good Morning, We are sorry for your circumstances. Depending on the year of the BMW, Parts for the Airbag recall may not be available yet. My General... Manager and Service Director were made aware of the situation and will be looking into the matter further.
I was at the dealership for required maintenance and some recall campaigns. As ever, Don the BMW service advisor was knowledgeable, efficient and respectful.... A great dealership!

This is all frustrating for us as it appears that our best interest is not kept in mind when ever we have our vehicles serviced there. I do appreciate... the effort that the Service Director put in to try and keep us as a customer, but I will not have my wife treated as liar, or an unaware customer that can be sold anything because she does not know better. We have always brought this vehicle to this dealership, except when we could not get into your dealership for a couple of oil changes. The dealer's implication of us having the brakes replaced somewhere else while trying to hold their dealership accountable is not good business, they were the last ones to touch them, they should have gotten it right the first time.
