Of course people, you have to do maintenance on your vehicles. Plus, you are purchasing USED, get a warranty! STOP WINING!!!!

Arrived at Lee Peterson Motors at 7:50 a.m. Monday morning for an oil change and one year check up for my red Cadillac SRX. Paul, one of the service reps... said it would take just over an hour. I brought a book along to read while sitting in the showroom. Greeted the owner Lee Peterson as he arrived a bit later. Then visited with several other customers. Looked out the window and the red SRX was pulling up in the drive way. Not only had oil been changed, the dealership filled out a check list for the vehicle. And it was bright shiney red with a new wash job. The kind of service we can count on at Lee Peterson Motors. Jim Barnhill
I am looking to purchase a 2008 to 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 Dinali. I came to Lee Peterson because they had one in stock that fit that description we agreed... on a price before I saw the truck I assume the truck would be in good condition because they have a good rating on the reviews. They offered me a 24 Hour test drive which was nice I will give them credit for that I took the truck home to show it to my wife on further inspection I noticed it had four tires they did not match brand or tread life one tire was a different brand and one tire and one was almost to the legal limit with this truck being an AWD the tires are unsafe for the driver and can they damage the drivetrain. I offered to pay for tires at their cost and they cover the labor they came back with the price of tires at regular price. I told him I was unwilling to pay full price on the tires. I would pay for them at cost they told me they cannot do that so they basically want to make money on the truck and the tires and are caring more about profit on tires as well as truck than safety or a reliable vehicle. It also doesn’t look good it the service department inspected the truck and has let a salesman drive it over 6,500 miles I know this because it is a synthetic oil and they had a sticker in the window for next due oil change and it was 1,500 over also the salesman told me he drove it to the coast for his vacation. They also keep trying to bring up that they serviced the AC they had to replace the blower motor and add Freon a bad blower motor doesn’t leak Freon so who ever buys it will have AC issues by the end of summer or begins of summer next year.
Brought truck in for a PO299 code. Agreed to a $110 diagnosis charge. Turbo boost problem. They had it 4 hours to tell me I needed to change the fuel filter... and wanted to charge me $315 plus tax to change it. I said no. The Service Advisor Ruth made a statement to me that “well we’ve worked on your truck all morning so it warrants this cost”. I signed and agreed to pay for a diagnosis. I told her don’t try to charge me for your problem of taking too long to diagnose. I asked to speak to GM. Go even more problematic. GM got upset and said fine pick up truck because I didn’t want to pay that much. I took elsewhere to change fuel filter. Still has P0299 code. So now Chevrolet is actually fixing it. Sad that GMC technicians could not diagnose one of their own. Then want to charge me for something unnecessary. Also VERY sad that their GM stood behind their crappy diagnosis. I do not recommend this service department or dealer to anyone. Our drive to Vegas was suppose to start today. Wasted a day with Lee Peterson.
Clyde, Sorry you are having an issue with your truck. We did agree on a 110.00 diagnosis fee with you. The tech had more time in it than that but we n...ever were going to charge you for the extra time. The 315.00 included the diagnosis and filter replacement. When you called you wanted us to discount the entire job for less than our cost involved. I did advise you that it would be a good idea to use factory parts for the repair. I also advised you that there could be additional problems but that the filter did need to be replaced before going on. I do hope you now have the rest of your issues with your truck taken care of.
All work was done on time and professionally. The service professionals at Lee Peterson are top notch.
I could not start my car; it was in my garage. I called Triple A on a Monday morning and had it delivered to Lee Peterson Motor's without a scheduled appointment... and they gladly worked me in that afternoon and found the problem and fixed it and I had transportation by 3 p.m. Excellent service, professional and friendly service always.
Was checking on Buick Le Sabre. Was called by salesperson he/she left no message Called back Secretary knew nothing I gave up.
After searching online for a month I found a used Acadia in my price range. Showed up to test drive and found a brand new Acadia that I liked even more.... They were able to work with me on the pricing and financing to fit my budget. Jim Peterson made the experience excellent.
