Just moved here from out of state.

Just moved here from out of state. I asked if there were any specials on oil change and I was told no, that it would cost $89, but today I get an email stating the oil change service special is $39.95 and that the service special started October 4th and runs through December 31st. I will have to find another dealership to take my car for service. Not cool.

On 11/4, I went in looking at a Pathfinder that had been

On 11/4, I went in looking at a Pathfinder that had been aging on their lot for a few weeks now. It was the right color combination and had most of the configuration I wanted. I figured it’s been sitting on their floor plan for a while, so maybe they’ll be interested in making a deal to relieve them of it that day. I had a pleasant discourse with Javed as we worked the numbers. He went back and forth to the sales manager a couple of times, trying to get me to raise my offer, which is understandable. Then, the sales manager himself, Gexyol Matos, comes out, and I thought we were about to get somewhere reasonable. Little did I know… Gexyol walks up to me and says “$53K? you’re not going to move from $53K?” then immediately yells at me, “you can leave!” and pointed his hand to the door, followed by “good luck, keep driving around for a car”. I told him “you didn’t even give me a firm price” and he’s yelling over me, saying “it doesn’t matter!” I reply “you’re right, it doesn’t matter because you were rude” and walked out. About 10min after I leave, Javed calls me back and offers me a firm price. Although their firm price was higher than where I was at (obviously), I would’ve legitimately considered it and likely taken it. However, their hubris is incredible… to think that after Gexyol’s behavior, I’ll come back and buy from them. He could’ve offered his final bottom price, or simply and politely said, “sorry we can’t really get there” and we would’ve have pleasantly exchange goodbyes and that would’ve been that. Gexyol needs to be retrained on customer service principles and learn how to close a semi-informed buyer. Avoid this place. If you’re looking for a Nissan, drive the extra distance and go to Jim Shorkey, Nalley, or Carriage. At the very least, they don’t have people that shout at you. I bought a Pathfinder the next day, elsewhere, at $53K. Their Pathfinder is still on the lot as of today (11/20).
