Buyer Beware... I recently dealt with Bluebonnet Ford several times while looking to purchase an F-150. Here's what you can expect... * As soon as you... walk in the door, you'll be surround by predatory sales reps * Prices are guaranteed to be lowest around, except a real quick search on CarGuru's or TrueCar will show that this dealership is consistently $3-6K more than other dealerships *Staff was rude and hesitant to allow test drives *As an informed buyer who had done research, I was constantly met with an attitude from the sales rep who was *gulp* trying to assist me *Sales reps knew next to nothing about the vehicles, only what they could pull up on the web page *If you mention any other dealerships, they will quickly belittle them and throw shade about extra fees and other nonsense (which they in fact due) *Despite being higher than any other dealership out the door, they will continually (and rather old fashioned) guarantee that they are "taking a loss." *Generally, it felt as if I was doing them a favor to buy...it was very clear that they didn't care for my business Remember, someone is paying for that massive, mansion of a dealership. If you really want to save money and enjoy purchasing your vehicle, do some research and go to a place that wants to serve you!
I sat down with the service Rep, Joe Alveolar, I think was his name. First I told him I wanted to get a service, then told him also I wanted to get any... Recalls needed taken care of. He wasn't the friendliest guy I ever met but that's the way things are these days. He told me it would take 2 1/2 hours. I told him okay and decided to wait. After waiting for a little over 2 hours I decided to ask Joe to check on my vehicle how much longer it might be. He looks up from the phone and told me he had been looking for me, it was finished and in the back. I was waiting the whole time just outside his office and I know he didn't make any effort to find me. When I went to the cashier to pay, lo and behold, NO Service had been done. Of course I got angry after waiting so long. BAD BAD experience. I guess I'll find another ford deal;er to take care of my truck. And I don't want to sign up for yelp.
We had a very pleasant experience in purchasing our vehicle from Bluebonnet Ford in New Braunfels. The salesman, Bill Turner, was excellent in providing... expert information that led to the purchase of our 2014 Expedition. We were very pleased with our entire experience at the dealership and would highly recommend this dealership.
Jesse and Janie - we love hearing about customers that have a great experience at Bluebonnet Motors so thank you for telling us you are one of them! W...e appreciate that you trusted us with assisting you with your vehicle needs and we are proud that you chose our dealership. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like to book a future appointment. Congratulations on the new 2014 Expedition! Sincerely, Victor Kadish | Sales Manager | email@example.com
Have not finalized a deal but the people are very nice, specifically Charlie and I recommend them. Hopefully I can find a deal with them to buy a used... Jeep Wrangler.
I purchased a new Ford Escape from Chris Onnen 6 months ago as an inexpensive reliable collage car for our daughter. Like any parent sending their kids... off to collage, every dollar counts. You also want a vehicle that you hope will be the last one you help them buy. I shopped around and determined what I was willing to give for this particular vehicle. I called Chris and was able to negotiate the deal I wanted on the phone. I came in the next day and was out of there in no time. Chris made the process easy and fast and understood that no one wants to spend all day in a dealership buying a car. The best part is that Chis knowingly gave me the best deal in 100 miles and we didn't spend more than ten minutes negotiating the price.
Bought a car 12/18. After I thought I had made a deal, the salesman, Bill Turner added over $1900 to the cost of the vehicle without any discussion, approval... or even mentioning it. Sneaky!!. the finance guy hustled us through without going over each line of cost. I didn't catch it until 3 days later. After 6 weeks of calling, arguing, I got back around $1200. Avoid this place, it's like dealing with con men.
Simple service took an hour longer than told.main problem is they didn't tell me about the bar battery...I just read the report the next day
Russ did a great job helping me in my purchase. I would recomend Blue Bonnet to anyone who wants great Service and a Very friendly dealer. This is my... second Jeep ,
If you want a totally honest, highly qualified sales person who will shoot straight with you every time, go see Gerald Friesenhahn at Blue Bonnet Ford/Lincoln... Used Cars. I have bought 3 cars from him in the past few years and he is like part of our family. Wes Studdard who is the General Manager and part owner is equally superior in all respects. You won't regret working with these folks.
Scott was very helpful with service request and keeping me informed.
Jerry, our number one goal is attaining 100% customer satisfaction in all aspects of our dealership. If you have any additional needs or questions, we... will be more than happy to assist you! Safe travels!
