Checked out reviews before going in to do business, too bad did not see the bad reviews so went in based on old good reviews. Motorcycle consignment was... absolute Worst experience ever.
Old saying, anything too good too be true usually is. Be very careful
I have had several transactions with Smokey over the last 6 months as I have bought a couple of bikes from him; consigned a couple to him, and traded with... him a couple of times. I had a medical problem that made me unable to always ride the bigger bikes, and that is the reason for so many transactions. I had never met this man until after I had bought a brand new Harley. Had I known that he existed I would never have gone to the Harley place in the first place, as the price you can buy from him versus the Harley shop is a long ways apart. His dealings are like I have always tried to treat people I am dealing with; straight up: say what you do and do what you say. That used to be the American way; but for the most part it is no longer that way. However, I have always found him to be one of those individuals that actually still believes in it. I will continue to only deal with him when it comes to motorcycles as he has great bikes at reasonable prices. I am very comfortable with him and he has actually gone over the norm with me and took care of a problem that he really shouldn't have done so. All of my dealings with everyone around Smokey's Auto Sales has been an A+. His family is also involved in the business and I am comfortable with that as I grew up in a family run business too. I sincerely mean it when me and my family started doing business with Smokey that we not only met someone we do business with, but also consider him a friend. All my dealings with Smokey have been on motorcycles, not on cars, as I was not in the market for another vehicle. I just say check it out for yourself if you still prefer the old way; "Say what you do, and do what you say." =
This is the first used car dealer I've ever worked with who was friendly and pleasant. “Smokey”, doesn't pressure you to buy a vehicle, like the bigger... car dealerships. He allows you to look at his inventory without hounding you. I was in the market for a” Harley Davidson” and “Smokey” came through. I told him what I wanted and he notified me later he had a “Harley”, I must see. It was exactly what I was looking for and immediately purchased it. ” Smokey” didn't pressure me and made it affordable. You can’t go wrong if you’re in the market for a good used vehicle, whether it’s an automobile or motorcycle. I will continue to use Smokey's for other vehicle purchases in the future.
