Excellent service. Jon McKee is amazing and very helpful. we told him what we wanted and the price and payments and he kept in touch with us until he could... get us into exactly the right vehicle we were looking for. The whole team was very friendly. I would highly recommend driving to Perry to check them out. The whole staff was extremely helpful.
Got exactly what we was looking for. So far we have had zero issues. Ron was great in helping my fiancée with the buying process and surprising me with... it. Will buy another one from them again. I dont know why the site wont let me click 5 stars for all fields but if it would let me I would.
This dealership has very unethical employment practices. They treat employees terribly don't get a job here or buy a car most unethical owner I've ever... heard of
Worked a deal with Diamond on a vehicle. Would recommend him to anyone. Great Guy!!! Really works hard to get the deal done. We went back and forth for... a few days and on the last day as we were getting close to putting a deal together. I ended up on the phone with the Sales Manager Brandon McKee and he tried to tell me how hard he was working to put a deal together. When I gave him my thoughts on the numbers he blew up, started swearing at me and eventually hung up before I could even explain my side and clarify that even though I thought his was worth "X" and mine was worth "X" I was willing to go most of the way to putting a deal together. I was willing to look the other way on the negative reviews and give these guys a shot. Guess I was wrong! If Diamond was managing that place they would probably sell twice as many cars. Sad part is I was looking at a car that they have had on the lot for many months that I know needs to go and would have loved to own.
Brandon McKee is awesome! I just bought a 2004 Cadillac CTS and it's like a dream come true. Brandon gave me what I needed for the HHR and I gave him what... he needed for the Cadi! I would recommend anyone to his dealership!
My Father and I went into McKee Auto Center in Des Moines, Iowa off of NE 14th st on May 9th to look at a 2003 Chevy extended cab 1500 that they were asking... 13,500 for. I had a 1998 Chevy extended cab 1500 that I was looking to trade in towards the purchase of a used truck. They first offered us 800 for my truck (which is ridiculous) and we told them that we could get more than that or we would just keep it for that price, and they kept telling us that they could not go down that much more for the 2003 because there was nothing wrong with the truck and they would be giving it away. After 40 min. of negotiating they bumped up the price for my truck to 1800 which knocked down the price of the 2003 to 11,700. We agreed to that price, paid 9,000 in cash and wrote a check for the remaining 2,700. That day on the way home the oil pressure gauge quit working, and the security system was acting up, so the next day (the 10th of May) I took the truck back in (with the title of my truck) and asked them about it because they said there was nothing wrong with the truck. The salesman that sold it to us could not even look me in the eye when I told him what was wrong and basically told me to take it to my mechanic. Four days later (May 13th) I went out to go somewhere in the 2003 Chevy and all of the gauges went haywire (the cluster went out.) So my dad and I went back to McKee and asked what was going on and to see if they were going to replace it since I had the truck for four days. Brandon McKee the owners son came out to look at it and proceeded to say that the cluster went bad and that was that. My dad said to him if he would have know he was going to have to fix the truck four days after buying it he never would have sold the F-ing 98. After that was said Brandon McKee went off on us saying that he bent over backwards to get the truck for us at that price (if they were not going to make money on it they would not have agreed to the deal in my mind) and continued to drop the F-bomb repeatedly and said he was going to call the cops if we did not get off of his F-ing lot and then just stormed inside the dealership and we never saw him again. I called Anthony McKee around 5pm on the 13th of May in Perry (the owner of the dealerships) and told him how we were treated and how everything went down. He assured me that was not how they did business and it should not have happened. He said that he was going to get to the bottom of it and was going to call me back. It is now the 14th and I have not heard back. It is awesome to know that I have already signed the title over from my 98 to them and I still do not have the title for the 2003. We are still trying to get everything resolved without taking legal action, but I have a feeling we will get the "tuff luck cold shoulder." I would highly recommend never doing business with them and making sure no one else you know does either.
Found this dealer to be very fair in working with a price for my trade while others didnt want to even work with me. So I would suggest them to any others... looking for a used vehicle.
