    If I could this review would be a -100 ; I took my car to get some repair work done including an airbag recall at Lynwood Mercedes ..since I've been buying... cars we have always bought either BMW or Mercedes for all the reasons one would expect including the service. Same reason I shop at Nordstrom's quality and service.....Let's just say I've been treated better at Jiffy Lube. My nightmare begins by speaking with Garrett one of the representatives in the service department. He was nice and professional in the beginning while he was screwing us and taking our money. He basically said we had three oil leaks (I'm so gullible )well over $2000 worth of work which we completed all at once against my better judgment. I promise to God I heard the greed in his voice when I told him to do all of the work ...ignoring my inner warning because I expect better from Mercedes . Almost $2850 later I come to pick up my car, a young lady literally hands me an invoice and my keys and says your car is parked out front. No one from the service department including the manager who was on his phone texting came out and said anything about the work they completed on my car. I had to walk into his office and ask him what was done to my car and what other problems had he encountered. I am a very observant black woman and while I was there talking to Garrett before they worked on my car every white woman/man for that matter was greeted and walked around their car when they came to pick their car up; and then given the invoice. I thought this was customary. I have never ever just been handed an invoice and my keys before. I guess I wasn't good enough IN THEIR EYES . I don't know why ??? because my green money sure was. I've been living in Seattle for 20 years and I know the passive aggressive racism that lives here. I know every fiber of it but I have never experienced it at Mercedes before this event. Oh I miss Phil Smart ...even though some people (usually the person excercising this passive aggressive racism) is in complete denial. After you have been the subject of this passive aggressive racism you begin to know exactly what it looks like. Not even a week later my car is smoking again ???? I'm really confused at this point. I call Garrett like hello my car is smoking again I thought you guys repaired all of this ???? (Again I'm relying on Mercedes integrity and service ) he tells me "oh well don't panic it's not a big deal maybe something malfunctioned it is not rocket science) ?????? Wow this is how you talk to your customer..... I replied by telling him " well why don't you come with me this evening and help out in surgery it's not rocket science" . I mean let's be for real.... even though I panicked I was very careful with my tone because again living in Seattle for 20 years I know it's easy to be perceived as "the angry black woman". We go back-and-forth in an email but something was nagging at me .... sorry I have to leave it at that...four days after I called Garrett about the smoking my warning light went off for my cruise control and airbags??? Wait a minute why is the airbag light going off when this was the whole reason for the Mercedes re-call THEY PAID YOU TO FIX / REPLACE THE AIRBAGS. So now you're trying to kill me. all jokes aside it is not safe to return a car when you did not repair the airbags correctly ...my daughter and grandchildren ride in my car or did. I asked the service manager would you let your daughter or son have this car in this condition ???? he could not look me in my eye he looked down and said yes ...... in addition to the smoking there is now an airbag malfunction warning, inoperable cruise control warning, brake fluid warning (I have never had my car returned from Mercedes service without all of my fluids topped off). I specifically asked the service manager if my fluids were topped off and of course he said "yes". I advise any black woman taking your car to Lynwood Mercedes either have your hu

    I had a difficult to diagnose issue with my C450 transmission. The service manager, John Shepard, quickly identified a tricky issue and obtained the software... fix from Germany and scheduled a service appointment. The appointment was carried out in an equally skilled and efficient manner by the service adviser, Garrett, and an unidentified tech. The gist of all this is that these guys did what the selling dealer could not, did it with a smile, and got it right. Sum: MB of Lynwood is all you have to know. (I did write the owners and suggest raises and bonuses! ;) ) Addendum: I should add that the measure of any dealer's service department lies in the hard, not the easy cases. I've been driving performance cars for nearly 50 years, and this department gets an A+.

    Professional, Personable, Knowledgeable, Efficient! John Bang was great welcoming us to M-B of Lynnwood and showing us the car we ultimately purchased.... Mindy Cannon took care of the purchase details, warranty, and future maintenance so efficiently that we were onto the vehicle final delivery with Colin Ferrence and out the door with our new GLK350 in under 2 hours. It was a wonderful experience purchasing our car from Mercedes Benz of Lynnwood. We are so glad we drove the distance to M-B of Lynnwood.

    We worked with John Bang and his team on an out-of-state sale (we live in California) of a 2015 B class electric and he was incredibly friendly, fast and... accommodating. The B class is a model that MB does not actively promote, especially outside of California and we've heard horror stories of other MB dealers being clueless on how to set-up the car for new owners (things like remote charging). So was very pleasantly surprised to find out that John knew the model inside/out. Moreover, from first contact to delivery to our front door took only 3 business days. John was also supportive of us post-sale. We had some issues with California DMV which John and his team quickly solved for us too. Kudos all around!
