We spoke with John Jr. via phone on a Duramax Chevrolet truck. He did a complete walk-around on the truck and told us about any flaws he found. We gave him a deposit over the phone to hold the truck. Upon arrival (after a 6 hour drive), the truck was everything he said it was on the phone. Great people to work with and I would highly recommend them to anyone! WOW! I've bought many vehicles over the years and have never had a better buying experience than just had Thiel Motors in DeWitt. My salesperson was super easy to deal with and I even dealt directly with the owner during the negotiation process. I got the exact truck I had been searching for nearly 3 months - and I even paid a little less than I anticipated. They have an AMAZING selection of trucks!

I recently purchased a small SUV from Thiel's. I felt like I was treated fairly, and wasn't pressured at all into the purchase. I looked for a few months, and other car dealers were very pushy and rude when I didn't buy on my first test drive. If I'm spending $20,000. I don't want pressure. Thank you Thiel, for a nice experience and a nice used car. They also repaired a defective passenger seat for me 3 weeks after my purchase. Awesome!

I stopped by Theil motors because I liked a truck on Cars.com. I had a bad feeling after arriving because I had to "find" a sales person. After test driving the truck we agreed on a price and arranged to take delivery after some repairs were made. Two weeks later I purchased a truck from another dealership. Jim Theil would not answer the phone or return my phone calls. I actually called and asked to speak to a different owner and still did not recieve a call. I have never heard of a car salesman that would not call a customer back. Terrible experience but I am glad it did not workout because I was able to locate a better truck. Do not waste your time.

I purchased my Lexus from Thiel Motor Sales in 2009. The service them was great. I just recently brought it back in for Service Work. I had an oil change and break work done and it was done very quickly and at a very reasonable rate. I am very happy with sales and service work. They have very friendly staff and everyone is always willing to help you out. I would recommend Sales and Service to everyone!

My husband and I drove from Des Moines to look at a truck and ended up buying it. Very fair deal and they gave us a good prie for our trade. Jim was able to get us a finance rate lower than our home town bank. Over-all this was the best car buying experiance we have ever had. We will be calling Thiel for our next vehicle. Make sure to check all the cool classic cars they have on display while you are there.
