Working with Jim and Michael was an excellent experience purchasing an Audi A5 long distance! They responded to all my request to check the items on my list to give me confidence buying a car sight unseen from Genuine Motor Cars, Inc. I would recommend this dealership to any buyers looking for a hassle free, long distance sports car purchase!

Michael is a very knowledgeable and experienced car salesman. The dealership could not have been more accommodating and very easy to deal with. They were true to their word and the car was in the condition as described by the dealer. There was no high pressure to buy the car or the extended warranty. Everything was explained very clearly.

I bought the car sight unseen so really relying on them to describe it in the way it actually was. I’m buying largly on their commentary - The description was accurate. There was a few chips et cetera but given that the car is old that was expected they did add new tires and we negotiated that into the price at the time as they were needed. I do need new brake brakes on them as well so even though it passed their inspection, it did not pass Porsches inspection so that was an unexpected cost but expected at some point. Just not now after a few months of purchase. Overall, I would recommend them and rate them highly. They were efficient and sent me photos and a video just make sure the video is close up - if buying remotely, otherwise I think you’ll find them a great team to work with and they care about their reputation and clearly they uphold their reputation. I was debating if for Star rating or a five star rating, but decided on a five star because ultimately there’s nothing technically wrong with the car and it’s more or less exactly as described so who am I to complain? I got what I wanted. They got a good deal as well so win-win.

I recently purchased a 2007 Porsche 911 and wow what an experience with the Team. I specifically worked with Rob, who was tremendously knowledgeable and customer-centric in his approach, communication, and relaying local contacts for modifications I was seeking (painted calipers and PPF). What a great Team, from the Sales side to finance, made my experience seamless.

I recently purchased a 2000 Porsche 911 from Jim Back in October 2025, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Jim was great to work with - professional, friendly, and never pushy. The whole process was smooth and stress-free form start to finish. Highly recommend working with Jim if you're in the market for a vehicle. Edward Koren

I bought a 2014 Mercedes-Benz SL550 with only 8,500 miles on it from Joe Kase, the owner of Genuine Motorcars, about 1 year ago. I have waited this long to see if I would have any problems with it or his company. It has worked perfectly. The only problem I had was that Joe sent it out to an MB dealership to have the Nav system updated at my request to help make the deal. Well, that dealership messed it up, and it could not be repaired because of the age of the car. The car did not have CarPlay in it, and I was going to upgrade it to an aftermarket system when I got it back to Texas. Now with CarPlay, you can use Google Maps, which works better than the MB system anyway. Joe said he felt very bad about the only problem I had with the car or the buying experience. HE told me he would pay for it. Now it was not his problem, and there was really no warranty from him or his company, but he did it anyway. He is a great guy, and I would buy another car from him if I ever needed one and he had it. I flew from Texas to Florida, and he had someone pick me up at the airport and bring me to his office. I signed all the paperwork after looking the car over and test driving. The car was just as he said it was and more. I was on the road driving the car back to Texas in about 3 hours. Yes He could have shipped it to me, but I really wanted to drive the car. I also want to say I worked with Jim DiGuiseppe on all the paperwork, and he also answered any questions I had on the car, CarFax, or other things that came to mine. Jim is also very easy to work with, as is this company. Jim and I talked about getting an extended warranty, and I told him I would think about. Well, when I got back, I did some digging into extended warranties, "MB are very expensive to work on," and the one he was telling me about ended up being the best one, and HE had the cheapest price. I called a few MB dealerships to see if they took the one Jim was selling, and they did. I also got the Wheel warranty, and a good thing I did because 2 months after I got it, I rubbed the front rim and got it repaired, there was no deductible, and the price would have been $475.00. Sorry for the long review, but I think this company deserves it.. Blaise Vezie

I have bought two cars from this dealership. Both cars were what was advertised and in great shape. Had a problem with delivery on my purchase as it took over 4 weeks after purchase to receive but this was a combination of issues. Was offered money back for the issue. Jim came through and we eventually got everything that was promised! Both cars are amazing and I would buy again from this dealership.

We traded our vehicle with one from Genuine Motorcars. Their ad indicated that their vehicle was “certified” and in excellent condition. We dealt with the owner, Jim DiGuiseppe, who also assured us that their vehicle was inspected and there were absolutely no issues with it! Being out of state, we purchased their vehicle based their assurances – a big mistake! Before shipping our trade vehicle to them, we had it detailed, filled the gas tank, and included all the receipts and documents with our car. However, they didn't even put enough fuel in their car so we could drive it to a gas station after picking it up! On the way to get fuel, the car died due to lack of fuel, stranding us! The owner told us that he had a buyer for our car and we agreed to the trade at over $40,000 loss. Upon receiving our vehicle, it was listed on the dealer’s site for sale at $10,000 over what was given to us in trade! A total misrepresentation! Regardless, we hope that they’ll be able to profit from selling our vehicle. We immediately noticed many issues with the vehicle: altered and inoperative speedometer, missing keys, missing the wind deflector and missing battery charger. Old engine oil, broken dipstick neck, clogged air filters, bald tires, damaged wheels, severe shakes, numerous rattles, and etc. We brought all these to the owner’s (Jim DiGuiseppe) attention immediately. He promised that he would look for the missing keys, but he never provided them! Later, he refused to accept any responsibility claiming that he sold the car “AS IS”! He also accused us with trying to coerce him to compensate us in exchange for a good review! All we asked him was if he would cover some of the unexpected and hidden repairs so we wouldn't include them in this review. Photos of the speedometer and the tire attached. So far we have spent over $4,300 and anticipate to spend another almost $16,000, totaling over $20,000 on the car that the dealership and the owner, Jim DiGuiseppe, claimed to be certified and in perfect condition! We are planning to file a complaint with the Florida Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles, Bureau of Dealer Services. No dealership should be able to sell a vehicle with dangerous and unsafe tires and altered speedometer, among other issues! These are what we have spent so far on their supposedly perfect vehicle! – Replacing the missing keys; $ $1,752. – Repairing 3 wheels; $ 420. – Balancing the wheels $88. - Tires; $757. - Alignment $250. – Oil/filter change: $550. – Air filters: $200. - Missing battery Charger, $210. – Battery connector cable: $94. – Dipstick neck: $18. Ongoing anticipated repairs and replacements: - Wind deflector: $8,083. – Instrument cluster:$6,720, plus $975 labor. – Checking and correcting door rattles by removing door panels: $800 to $1,200. - Other possible issues… To the future buyers from Genuine Motorcars, do not take their words and their ads about the condition of their vehicles!

Dealer response

It’s unfortunate that we have a customer who feels this way about our dealership. Our goal is to take the necessary steps to satisfy our customers with the purchase of the vehicle. In this case our customer believes we did not do, which is unfortunate. We appreciate every customer and value them very much since they are the reason we have been doing business for over 25 years with a huge following of repeat customers and satisfied customers. Referring to the past negative review, we have every retail vehicle inspected and serviced providing the inspection report to the customer if requested prior to delivery of vehicle. The vehicle also comes with a Powertrain Warranty at no extra cost to the customer. The vehicle in question (Bentley) came with a 90 day or 3000-mile Powertrain Warranty, vehicle was not sold AS-IS. It was inspected by a factory trained Bentley Technician which he thoroughly provided documents of the inspection with notes and pictures. Claim 1 dirty oil, we have documents showing oil/filter and drain plug gasket was changed and pictures showing the condition of the oil after the service. Claim 2 the air filter cabin was dirty we have pictures of the filters that were showing in good condition. The tires tread was 4/32 front and 6/32 rear no signs of balding. Claim 3 the damaged wheels we have invoice of $400 that wheels were repaired prior to customer receiving the vehicle. FYI customer had own transportation company transport the vehicle, the vehicle had no damaged wheels when customer’s transporter picked up the vehicle. Claim 4 the vehicle was sold with 1 key. He was told if a 2nd key was located, we would provide him with it, nothing was promised. The vehicle also did not come with manuals, but we purchased them for the customer out of courtesy. Claim 5 Dip stick purchased we have pictures that were not broken. Claim 6 the cluster on speedometer was not intact, we also have pictures when inspected the speedometer was in working order intact. Claim 7 Windscreen and Battery Charger accessories, the vehicle was never advertised with these items nor came with the car, the customer purely purchased these things on his own. Claim 8 door rattles the door never rattled in our possession or noted on inspection otherwise we would fix it. We provided the documents and pictures to the customer, but he refused to acknowledge any of it. It’s not our intention or goal to have customers upset, it does us no good. We feel we have taken the necessary steps to sell the vehicle. We believe the customer had expectations that were not discussed and made purchases, services and repairs on his own to give him more peace of mind. We are sorry he feels this way and hope he can enjoy his vehicle now. Genuine Motor Cars, Inc.
