    As a retired manager of customer service it is a habit to observe, compare and evaluate service opportunities, and yesterday was no different. The difference, however, was what we experienced during our buying experience for a used vehicle. Our buying experience brought us to several dealers in our effort to find the right vehicle at the right price. What my wife and I experienced at Stark was far and away the most pleasant and thorough. At the outset I was a bit hesitant to buy a vehicle from a dealer about 2 hours away, but Bob and Tobby totally alleviated any concerns. While our original contact was with Bob, the day we could actually come to the dealership had him out of the office servicing another customer's needs, so he set us up with his associate Tobby. When we arrived Tobby was immediately available and ready. He was fully up to speed on our situation, the car we were interested in was out front and ready for our inspection. Not being from the area, Tobby offered suggests for various types of roads so we could get a full test drive experience. Upon our return he first made sure he answered any questions we had, then set us up with refreshments. This is now where our previous experience got more uncomfortable, but it didn't with Tobby. He listened, answered questions and proactively explained the process before we got started, unlike all the other dealers who "surprised us" with additional fees and considerations and the standard, "all of our vehicles are competitively as they sit on the lot". Stark's worked with us and then, unlike all the other dealers, who required cashier's checks-which is a pain when you are 2 hours from your bank-accepted our personal check. When the vehicle was made ready, the final cleaning and detail was immaculate and with a full tank of gas. Toby then spent significant time patiently going through all the cars accessories and operation and this was on a vehicle that was not of this dealerships brand. He even set up our phones and some personal settings on the new vehicle and even accommodated my wife's plea to help her do the same on our other car, which he graciously did. I would strongly recommend Stark and salesmen Bob, and Tobby.

    Never trust these guys when you buy a used car from them. I purchased a used 2014 chevy cruz from them. While the buying process was good, they failed on all other aspects. I was promised from both the finance manager and the sales rep that they would fix my hood, scratches all over it. Well i went back a week later and they tried to buff them out, did nothing, so they had me go to a body shop, waste my time there getting it looked at and then never called me or even returned my calls to get it fixed. Also on delivery, and this is the worst as i thought all chevy cars had a delivery process, guess not. I was lead to my car, told to push the onstar button and then while driving to register it. The sales rep took zero time to walk over the car with me, lol still can't program the stupid radio. i have even canceled my extended warranty with them as I will never go back to them ever. In conclusion, if you buy something used from them, even if it is certified like mine, get it in triple writing on any work that they need to do, yes i had a iou yellow copy of work that need to be done from them and still nothing.
