Ashland Honda/Toyota in Ashland, Wisconsin sits right on the shores of Lake Superior. The facilities are bright and welcoming, and the view fantastic.... However, it is more than the view that keeps me coming back. I just bought my second new car, a Honda CR-V, there and I am glad I chose this dealership again. The sales staff knows their cars and their customers. It is best to describe to them what you are looking for because with the wide variety of makes and styles they have available they can pretty much "custom fit" you to the car of your dreams. Their service staff is equally hospitable to all their customers. Your car will be serviced quickly, professionally, and for a reasonable, or often, no fee. Friendly staff when I called to make an oil change appointment. Service dept. did a good job. Easy in/out with no problems. Enjoyed the coffee while I... waited.
Service dept. did a good job. Easy in/out with no problems. Friendly staff. I do have a question on something said to me each time I have been in the... dealership. Each person i have worked with said i should expect a survey and requested I fill it out. (I’m happy to give my feedback). The strange thing i noted is each time the person I’m working with said “anything less than a 10 out of 10 on the survey is a failure and will reflect negatively on their personal job performance. I took this as a plea for a perfect rating as anything less means they could loose their job. I’m not sure if this is something said across all Honda/Toyota dealers or just the one in Ashland. It makes me uncomfortable thinking that if i had an issue and mention it during the survey the employee will loose their job. I wonder if anyone else has felt this way and has not mentioned an issue fearing an employee will be fired. I wonder if this type of pressure gives a true picture of how the dealership is actually preforming.
