CARMAX do not give you a fair price for your car.

CARMAX do not give you a fair price for your car. My car that I purchased was delivered to me with a crack in the windshield and dent on my door and the most disturbing part was the car was dirty. I with never come back to CARMAX. The managers a rigid and will not offer a dime off no matter how bad there car is. I would rather go to a dealership that’s fair.

Cars.com sends me a photo of a BMW convertible 430i with price and details. when I reach the bottom of email there is a note the car is sold. Why does Cars.com bother sending????

Great experience at CarMax Southlake! Thank you Scott for all that you did to make our buying experience easy! We were in and out in 2 hours with our CX-9! I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for an honest, easy experience.

Worse car buying experience ever.

Worse car buying experience ever. Promised to deliver. Did not. When I went to pick up car, the actual mileage was 5K miles over what was advertised. I asked for a discount on the price. The salesman (who was great btw) called a buyer and put me on the phone. The buyer was snarky and rude. He refused to reduce the price or give any accommodation for the 5K differential in mileage. I thanked the salesman and walked away from the deal. I wound up buying the same car from another dealer I found on Cars.com. I will never do a deal with CarMax again. I would give zero stars, but I'm afraid that will count as not rating. So they get one star for breathing.

Lies, do not buy

My experience was nice at first. Then came the breakdown of my front bumper. I know I didn't do anything crazy with the car. I looked under the bumper and noticed it had been repaired. When I took it to Nissan to repair and get an oil change they said that wasn't under warranty. A few days later Nissan sent me a Carfax of my car. It says the vehicle was in deed in an accident the year before. The Experian backgound check on the car I was showed by the salesperson day of purchase does not show any history of Accidents on it. I am very upset that I was sold a car that Carmax knows full well was repaired after an accident and sold it to me as if it wasn't. Get a Carfax done before purchase no matter what they show you.

Don’t waste your time or money

Just poor customer service very unprofessional worst car shopping experience I’ve ever had Went shopping for a car as my car I paid off finally gave out on me and it wasn’t worth fixing, was told to check out CarMax. The overall experience was a very poor one from the interactions of the sales people to the idc mentality,non listening skills and concern for their customers. First impressions are everything and I will not be back as this left a very bad taste in my mouth and experience.

Horrible service

I bought a car 1 month ago and almost crashed on the freeway yesterday because the brake caliper was replaced and not fully installed. A mount bolt was missing and the other bolts were hand tight. After breaking on the freeway the caliper came loose and hit the inner rim and cracked it. I called the store and was given the general managers phone number. I have called and texted him at least 20 times and have not received a response, I spoke to a service department representative by the name of Audrey and let her know I have my issue and that I was ok with getting it repaired instead of them having to replace it. The repair would cost only $150 and you would think since it was due to their negligence it would be a simple yes. Nope they don’t care she told me there was nothing they could due which is bull but it is what it is, I will never do business with them again.

Thieves who treat veterans poorly

Carmax is full of theives. We went to the Southlake location in Stockbridge, GA. First they ran our credit 3 times because they didn't know how to deal with a waiver of ad valorem tax. By the 3rd try, the salesman running our credit forgot to add my husbands income, getting our application denied. We had to call to get it pulled off our credit report, to apply again. Then they told us not to worry about the ad valorem tax, that it would be refunded by the state. Wrong! They knew this too. As veterans 100% disabled we are able to have this waived. Now, Carmax won't cut us a check. They are theives and treat veterans like junk.
