Second car bought here. Both cars had brakes fail within 30 days. Guess you aren't really checking the stuff you say you do? Yes it's covered under the... warranty and luckily my 18 yo survived the brakes going out on the freeway but I called to have the second purchased car serviced after you already said you checked the brakes and it will be a week before I can have it serviced? How is my son supposed to get to college? HORRIBLE service!
I used to look up the cars I liked at carmax, on my computer, and then call and make a appointment to see it. They won't let you do that any more.
I went there to see about them purchasing my vehicle. My car is in EXCELLENT condition, and i know that i will not get top dollar trading it in. I took... it there because they said they buy cars so i figured i would give them a shot, found out to be a scam. If your trying to get any money for your car or truck do NOT go there. So the guy comes out and gives me the whole KBB talk, yes i understand how KBB works. He gets on his phone and is lazy about typing in the correct info about the car, with all the upgrades it has, then continues to pick the shape of the car is in. Well he picks poor quality then covers part of his phone and tells me that is all i can get for my car, it is a 1/3 of what i can get for dealer trade in. Does this guy think im stupid and didnt check myself, the value of the car before i came in. I mean the internet is readyly available at the palm of our hands. Just from that experience, i will never CarMax again for anything! Makes me wonder how many other helpless people CarMax has done that to.
GREAT BUYING EXPERIENCE, SALESMAN ANTONIO WAS GOOD AND FUN, HE TOOK MY BARBS AND KIDDING IN STRIDE. RONICE THE GAL THAT DOES THE PAPER WORK HAS A GREAT... PERSONALITY, SHE COULD TAKE MY KIDDING AND FIRE BACK A COMEBACK, HAD A GREAT HANDSHAKE. ONLY PROBLEM, DOING THE PAPERWORK TOOK TOO LONG, I PRESUME BECAUSE QUITE A FEW CARS WERE SOLD THAT DAY
sold me car with no spare tire. Once they finally agreed to give me a spare, service department doesn't answer phone or call back when you leave message.... This dealership seems overwhelmed, understaffed.
Very happy... will buy from there again when it's time to purchase another car
I had a scheduled appointment after work one Saturday. After waiting 15 minutes I finally got to test drive the car went inside with the salesman to complete... paperwork and after being there for over 3 hours was told everything was a go (by the salesman who was told by the manager to proceed). When it came time to sign the paperwork the manager all of a sudden changes his mind and wants another pay stub after I had given him my last pay stub and printed out a copy of all my deposits into my account. Their computer would not allow access to my work site pay stub so i had to drive home to print the information and drive back to the dealership. Anyone could clearly see how much I make in a months time. I had recommended this dealer to my daughter but now due to all of the frustration I have been through i will send her somewhere else.
Went to have my car check an could not find out the problem. Had two make an appointment for over 2 weeks. Will never go there again or buy another car... there.
Hello. I have bought many cars at car max and sold them many cars as well. My service person was a female named kiko. She was great and called me back... just about every day to tell me what was wrong and the finished work completed. Now as for trying to contact someone at there service center that was impossible. The recording says they are busy at the moment and trying to talk to someone is nearly impossible. Beware..... other than that service work is great quality. I will still buy from them as long as they work the bugs out of service.
No haggle prices coupled with higher prices than franchised dealers is not a formula that encourages me to do business with them. I made an appointment... and came a long distance to see a specific car. When I arrived it took them 40 minutes to find the car and it was not in the condition as described. The car's condition didn't come close to supporting their offer price. I wound up at a Toyota dealer and bought a better condition, lower mileage, better warranty Prius for a lot less money.
