Shopping for cars is my least favorite thing to do. I went to a lot of dealerships in the area and at some I was never even greeted by any of the sales... representatives, however my experience with Hendrick by far was one of the best ever! Matt Gaylord (I highly recommend him) he went above and beyond to make searching for a vehicle very pleasant. He was very patient and knowledgeable. He was not pushy, and he went out of his way putting lot of time and effort helping me search for the right vehicle.
We went in to check out a Suburban LTZ. We got there early and spotted a beautiful Yukon XL Denali. I told the salesman I was very interested in the... Yukon and he unlocked it so we could check it out. He brings us inside before we could test drive it and takes down our information and they start the appraisal process for our trade in. Before we get ready to test drive he tells us there is another couple interested in it so we had to make a decision quickly. Not a big deal since we pretty much knew we were buying this Yukon provided the test drive wasn't terrible. We get ready to test drive, we get in the Yukon and go from the back of the parking lot to the front and all of a sudden we are told the Yukon has already been promised to someone else even though no deposit had been made and they weren't even coming in until the next day. Why give us the runaround then? why was a car on their car lot that was not for sale and without a "sold" sticker. We proceeded to test drive the suburban and it was perfectly fine and had we not seen and experienced the terrible customer service regarding the Yukon we would have bought the Suburban but there is no way they are getting my business now.
