My son came home from college over the Christmas break with our 2000 Buick Regal. The car sat out for a few days of subzero temperature and it was too... much, as the power steering and anti-lock breaks were damaged and the engine was making a funny grinding noise at low speeds. I brought the car into Mauer Buick and they ran a diagnostic and safety check and got back to me right away. It was bad new as a the aforementioned systems were shot and we were looking at over $5000 in repair to get it road worthy again. Instead of getting me to agree to put band-aids on it to keep it running, the technician was frank and honest in the total assessment. I was glad to pay the diagnostic to get real facts and was not disappointed. Mauer Buick (formerly Arrow) has alway done a great job in helping us keep that car going for a reasonable amount of money. In the future I will do business with them because they see me as a customer, and not paycheck.
We purchase a new Buick Lacrosse Premium II from Larry Reeds Arrow Buick in 2016. Within the last 6 months they went out of business. A reliable sou...rce told me that Larry Reeds Arrow Buick_GMC went bankrupt. I was told by new owner (Mauer Buick GMC) that "they bought the buiding from Larry Reeds Arrow Buick GMC, and they are a new business". Mauer Buick GMC is not standing behind service contracts sold by Larry Reeds Arrow Buick_GMC. Those of us that purchased from Larry Reeds Arrow Buick GMC will not receive same Customer Service at Mauer Buick GMC for out GM autos sold by Larry Reeds Arrow Buick. Auto Butler is an expensive service contract that was sold by Larry Reeds Arrow Buick GMC. Larry Reeds Arrow Buick GMC got the money for all these types of contracts sold. Mauer Buick GMC is not supporting Auto Butler, and in fact took out the equipment for this service from the service building. Auto Butler is trying to work with the dealership, the dealership is claiming they did not receive the money to maintain this service. Someone needs to come through! No one wants to refund our money. Anyone else in same boat???
