Won't go back! Brought jeep in for passenger airbag recall. Noticed the radio was jacked up and wife grabbed the passenger grab bar and noticed they had... either stripped or didn't screw the bolt in leaving it free to be launched when the airbag went off. Brought in and manager said he didn't do it while wearing a Barnett shirt. Is this the team player a service shop wants? He also got very short with me (his name id Rich) and i shut down until another gentleman intervened and explaining to Rich that he IS the face of barnett. The next gentleman questioned me on when the stereo was installed, it felt like he was trying to find a way for it not be their issue. After taking it into the shop for maybe 10 minutes wait they tell me they had to put 3 screws in the stereo as it wasn't installed correctly. No way they did this in 10 minutes. Why lie? Now their trust is lost. Caution to others!

Hi Mark, thanks for leaving your review. You are correct that your aftermarket radio had been installed incorrectly (not by our Service Department), w...hich allowed it to move while we were completing your recall service. Since the assist bar and radio were not properly secured, we took the extra 10 minutes to add 3 screws to secure your assist bar and radio. Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience and for the less than stellar customer service you experienced. Customer satisfaction is very important to us, and we aim to resolve problems as best we can, so if there is anything more we can do for you please give us a call and we'd be happy to discuss things further.

I was offered a deal on a jeep (emails to prove it) from Jeramy Olson and was excited for such a great deal! I had them run my credit and all confident... it would be an amount that was acceptable. Then when I received the work-up sheet from the sales manager it was $10k MORE! When I called them on it, they tried to deny it but I had all the emails! The sales manager, Tim Rogness, has also gone radio silent since I brought this to their attention. GREAT JOB BARNETT!!! I’d find a different dealer than these people!!! Apparently they like the good ol’ bait and switch trick!

Hi Kevin. We would be happy to re-visit this with you. Unfortunately, it sounds like there was some confusion. Our initial conversations were about pu...rchasing the vehicle, however, you then inquired about leasing. When you asked about leasing, we requested a credit application to provide you with an accurate quote, as your credit tier has a large impact on the payment. At that time you refused to complete a credit application, so we simply provided our current lease promotions which were not on the specific vehicle you originally inquired about and were dependent on top tier credit. This lease advertisement also required a down payment upfront along with tax and license paid. When you did complete the credit application, you then expected the advertised lease payment option on a more expensive, and different, vehicle. We would be happy to review your options further and discuss the pros/cons of both leasing or purchasing a vehicle. Please call us at 651-482-6100 and speak with our Customer Care Department.

Our Jeep was stolen from Barnett while it was there for some warranty work! They didn't secure the keys in the service dept. and didn't even realize it... was gone until 10-12 hours after it happened. The Jeep was found 28 days after it was stolen and had been torched. Then we called Barnett twice and went there twice without success to get their insurance info. It wasn't until we got our insurance company involved that we even found out who their insurance company was! During the whole ordeal, Barnett didn't reach out to us to keep us informed, to help us find a new Jeep, or to express regret. Extremely poor customer service!

Brent, we understand your frustration with having your vehicle stolen. Our insurance company immediately provided you a loaner and assured you that th...ey'd accepted liability. Most insurance companies, including ours, require a 30 day wait period before declaring a theft to be a total loss. This is done because in many cases the vehicle is recovered within that time. We understand the waiting is inconvenient and frustrating. Unfortunately, your Jeep was recovered after about 28 days and was found to be destroyed. Our insurance company is reimbursing you the full value of the vehicle, plus all sales tax and license fees. Beyond that, any claims of financial loss need to be handled by your insurance company. Again, we understand your frustration and wish there could have been a better outcome.

I bought my 17’ Ram last Tuesday and unfortunately this cold weather wore out my suspension air compressor. With that being said I had to bring it in.... made my appointment online and had no issues with that. Service was friendly and great.

WARNING please please do not buy or get your vehicle serviced from here! I know this is another bad review but people please listen! I had just bought... a Jeep Liberty not from them and wanted them to do an inspection on it to make sure it didn’t have any major issues. I did tell Angie that it was making a weird noise and that it should be checked out. 164.00 later the Jeep only needed a hose tightened and they couldn’t recreate the noise... go figure??? How can you miss a weird grinding bubbling bird chirping noise? Well folks- these people can....People, this noise is hard to miss, how can you NOT hear it? Anyways the diagnosis maybe it’s low on freeon? Haha is this a joke? The Jeep also has no heat which wasn’t addressed at all given that they supposedly did a full on inspection- wouldn’t you think a full inspection would find that out? Paperwork was half filled out, miles in and out are the same so it’s beyond me how they even pull your car in to get it serviced if the miles in and out are the same, I say this sarcastically because obviously they cannot take the time to DOCUMENT anything. Unless maybe they push it in there? I took my car to White Bear Lake Ford and right away they found the issue, they listened to me and took it in and found a bad transmission selonoid and that it needed a coolant flush. I sent an email to complain only because I couldn’t reach them by phone because for some odd reason their number doesn’t work.... I don’t blame them, I wouldn’t answer my phone either with all the negative reviews... anyways a lovely fellow named Bill Love replied mind you NOT by phone, but by email and then send a lovely text stating he sent an email...In what world do you not want to fully understand why a customer is unhappy with the service you provided over the phone??? His email stated he sent an email basically saying that his inspection was more then checking fluids and checking tire pressure- mind you not explaining what it a used car inspection actually included. I then offered to come in and show him the paper I received from them and why I felt cheated. Bill Love declined to hear what I had to say, and although I told him I would not let them service another vehicle of mine, basically told me I could go elsewhere to get my car serviced. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Even though I am not going to service my car through you, don’t you think you would want to hear what I have to say face to face, instead of in an email or over a text? GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE BILL KEEP IT UP! Please stay away, as of yet I’ve been told I paid for a visual inspection, a visual safety inspection, and a used car inspection. I’m not sure why they feel they can charge you 164.00 for a visual inspection that all dealerships offer for free.

I called angie after having work done on my van there. I have a max life warranty. So I needed warranty work done. My vehicle came back with lug nuts that... were loose. Angie was upset about it and she sent me to the manager. When he called me back. He said they only did a visual examination of the brakes to see I needed new brakes and new rotors. But funny he didn't see lug nuts that were about to fall off?? I have had the brakes and rotors looked at, since being there. They are more than half life left. Seems if it was warranty work that's free he didn't want to do it. But if he could charge me than he would do it. I'm not happy with everything I spent here and the extra money I had to pay, when it was covered by my warranty. I'm going to have to find another place for warranty work. I thought Barnett was a honorable business. Sad employees are making lite of all the owners hard work. Yes this morning I swore at the manager and said the f word. Which I'm not proud about. I'm sorry. But... I don't talk like that unless someone tries to lie to me and treat me like a idiot. I might be a woman. But I'm not stupid. I know that your mechanic forgot to tighten the lug nuts on my van. It could have caused a major disaster. It didn't. But don't treat me like I'm stupid, because you know that I'm right. You owe me more now than just a apology. This morning that would have been enough. Not anymore.

Purchased 2018 Kia Sportage, safety system prevented a crash. I am sure that it , also, prevented great bodily harm to me....and that’s very good. This... is exactly why I bought a Kia and another reason to purchase from Barnett Kia.

Barnett took it upon themselves to apply for a loan from a random bank without my permission when my original loan was rejected from my bank. The process... started as them telling me there were rules for applying for car loans from banks. I only wanted $1,500 and they said minimum was $6,000. They did not know what they were doing. There also was a new rule at my bank that you could not take out a loan on an older car. Run. Stay away. Let them go bankrupt. Find an honest dealer.

Rich Worden the service Consultant never informed me of a charge of $167.00 to look at my Jeep. I asked them to look under the hood to find out what was... smoking. Never did I ask them to hook my Jeep up to the computer. If he would have explained the charge I would have told him I have no lights or computer issues. He never explained the service fees. When I picked it up was surprised and frustrated by the lack of communication. I will never bring my jeep into this place. Even the GM spoke to me and was not willing to work with me on the charges. Terrible place!
