The $50 vital reward incentive was what initially brought me into the store. I was pretty sure I wanted a Subaru so this brought me into this store. I had received an email from a salesperson who must have received my information as a lead. I emailed back wanting to set up a time with this person, but did not hear back. I still went in at that time and asked for that person since they had seemed to take the lead on my interest from the email. I was immediately greated by Alyssa and she was very helpful and friendly. She let me know that the salesperson whom I had asked for would be in shortly. She was very helpful and friendly. Once that initial person arrived, I felt like I was inconveniencing that person. I did not feel welcomed by them at all. My partner had to ask them to pull a car in for me to look at and then they pulled in a level of car I was not interested in and didn’t even explain it well. I wanted to leave, but told my partner I wished I would have just worked with Alyssa. He went and asked the manager if she could help me instead. I was really happy once she helped me. She asked exactly what I was looking for, how much I wanted to spend, and told me about features of the car. She helped me with my clot choice and was nice and helpful the entire time. She was great and I would recommend her to others!

Attentive and responsive staff
Everyone was very responsive and knew what I was looking for and what I could do financially and they made it happen. I had specific things I was hoping for and didn't think I would be able to find at my price point but they found it for me so kudos to Morrie's.

I was not happy with my experience at Morries. When I...
I was not happy with my experience at Morries. When I first arrived it was a Monday evening. I was late to arrive and the sales person was in a rush. I hardly got to look at the outside of the car and he was pushing me to test drive it. After the test drive I decided I did like the car and filled out some paperwork. The next day when I arrived I met with the finance person. She told me she had a great rate for me, 6.87. I was shocked and said "5 weeks ago I applied for a load at a different store and got 2.91". She didn't think that was possible, she consulted with her manager who said it was impossible and the sales person who said it was impossible. Three different people telling me right to my face that I was a liar. Feeling like I was backed into a corker I agreed and signed some of the papers. Meanwhile the next day I google to find financing and I was approved for a loan at 2.89%. I called and notified them I would be using this other company for my financing. The sales person then called me and told me I need to just finish the paperwork and after it's done I can re finance with the new bank. I think not!! I get that try all get some kind of commission out of who they use to finance the loans but seriously, 6,87 vs 2.89 that is a difference of $27 per month on my payment or nearly $1560 over the course of a 5 year loan. My next complaint was I bought a car "as is". As I mentioned earlier I was rushed through the process. i didn't have any time to even look under the hood more or less to ask a friend to join me to look over the vehicle. The day finally comes to get the car and as soon as I leave I am heading up north about 3&1/2 hours. About a hour into the drive the tire pressure light comes on, then I start hearing and feeling this humming sound when I'm turning to the left. The next day I notified my sales person who notified the used car sales manager. When he called to ask when I was bringing the car in I told him I would be in with my lawyer friend at 3:30. I brought the car in on Monday. Here it is Tuesday and I'm without my car. The difference this time, and it may just be me. I had never been treated so kindly until this visit. Was it because I brought my lawyer firmed with??? Prior to this my sales person hardly had a moment to spend with me. Fortunately my finance person was delightful and quite a joy to work with. Had it not been for her I think I would have walked away. Even though I didn't use the financing she found for me. I could tell she was a little disappointed, she still welcomed me and accepted that I found my own financing. So my advice to anyone considering Morries Subaru Minnetonka is to do your research. If they give you an interest rate that seems too high, shop around. It is definitely worth taking that little extra time to shop around to make sure you are getting the best rate possible. The next thing I would suggest is if you feel rushed, tell them to back off. This is a major purchase you should not feel rushed. Make sure to bring a mechanic with you. If you don't have one then ask to bring it to your mechanic. When I have bought used cars in the past I have been given the car fax report and I've been given the inspection sheet from the place I bought from. I didn't get this when I bought my car this time, I would Ask for that at Morries. Lastly, it's never too late to walk away. Overall I cannot say that my experience was terrible, but it also doesn't make me convinced to go buy from there again.
