Worse than a Lovitts car lot

Purchased a used BMW in January 2021 along with the gold standard warranty that was supposed to cover the vehicle. After owning the vehicle for a few months, we started noticing a lot of poor repairs on the vehicle and had electrical problems. Vehicle broke down and needed an alternator which is one of the "covered" items included with the "warranty." The total repair bill was $1200.00 and the so called warranty that was sold to us through Bluewaterr Motorsports coveted a grand total of $400.00 of the repair. The finance manager Steven got the warranty representative to cover an extra $400.00 out of his own pocket still leaving me with a hefty balance. Turns out the warranty isn't really a warranty and only covers their predetermined limits. Not enough to actually repair the car. Spoke with the finance company, Professional Finance Services and they told me that they have been having problems with the warranties sold through Bluewater Motorsports and had to repossess several vehicles due to the warranty not doing its part. The finance manager claims to be working on upgrading my warranty to actually cover some stuff but this had gone on for a week now. It doesn't take a week to get a simple answer from someone or to work out a problem. I'm guessing that Steven thinks my wife and I are stupid. If you still buy a car after reading this. please don't waste your money on the warranty, it'll leave you stranded. **UPDATE** Steven is going above and beyond to correct his mistake of selling us inadequate warranty coverage. We waited a week for him to reach out to the representative until we finally reached out ourselves only to find out that the warranty is in no way able to be upgraded so Steven is full of it. Steven purposely withheld important paperwork that laid out the maximum coverage of this so called warranty. Had he been honest with us and showed us the paperwork, we never would have purchased such crap. Its pretty sad that our finance company felt the need to tell us about how many cars they have had to repo due to being sold inadequate coverage. The vehicle would break, the owners couldnt afford the cost of the balance and the car would be forfeited. Good job Bluewater, your dishonesty and lack of transparency is clearly ruining peoples credit. Owned the vehicle less than 4 months, drove less than 4,000 miles and as of yesterday 5/12/21, the motor is blown and no good. The warranty will only cover $2400 of an $8,000 repair. We just put one to $2,000 in it the week before. So now we have just as much money in repairs as we paid for the vehicle.

Satisfied!

Good cars, great prices, friendly service - I do recommend them. However, the finance department, though they did well to find decent financing, they rushed me through the purchase process and evaded some of my questions, which did make me uncomfortable.

I would not go to another place to buy but here

I have never had such a great time buying a car the sales man Steven made everything so easy for me and with other dealership turn Downs I was stressed but he asked me what I was looking for he found it in a few minutes and got me in it just as fast I was very pleased and will never go anywhere else to purchase a vehicle customer service the fast process awesome rates everything was amazing

Avoid

My wife purchased a 2020 Ford Mustang with less than 8,000 miles on it, on New Year's Eve day. When I test drove the car I noticed a loud grinding sound coming from the front drivers side and the tire pressure light was on. Greg, the General Manager, assured me that the tire pressure light sensory was malfunctioning because of the "change in temperature" and he wasn't going to replace it would just happen again when the temperature changed. He said they would have their mechanic look at the car and fix whatever was making the noise...after I bought the car. They also encouraged me to buy the "platinum extended warranty" package. A week later I took the car in for the repair and was told that they needed to replace the front brake pads....on a car with less than eight thousand miles?! The grinding sound stopped, but was replaced by a different noise. A month and a half later, I took the vehicle to a licensed Ford dealership to have parts replaced for manufacturer recalls. The dealership called me and informed me that there were obvious signs that the car had been in some type of collision. The tire pressure sensors had been completely removed, a front tire was replaced, the subframe was bent, dirt and mud was stuck under the car, indicating that it had bottomed out. They said that there was no way that Bluewater Motorsports was unaware of this damage when they sold me the car. The "platinum" extended warranty would not cover it because it was due to a collision. Surely, Bluewater Motorsports would rectify the situation. Right? WRONG. I have been lied to repeatedly, insinuated that I was the one that damaged the car, and they are refusing to be accountable for damages. I have been left without a vehicle for the weekend, unless I choose to pay the Ford dealership for the repairs that have already been done and pray I get reimbursed or get a rental and pray that Bluewater Motorsports reimburses me. The General Manager is unreachable by phone. I am unable to leave a voicemail for him at the office. The salesman refused to give me his number or the number of the owner, but assured me that they would call me...on Monday. Unethical. Irresponsible. Unacceptable.

Hello Don. Sorry for your experience at our dealership, however you are not allowing this supposed situation to even be addressed. First off you took delivery of the vehicle knowing the tire sensor was not in the vehicle and both you and your wife said that was ok based on the deal you were getting. Secondly the only issue I was aware of was the grinding noise that was coming from your brakes, and we fixed that issue. Even to the extent that we gave you something to drive while we fixed it and that is not our policy. You literally just picked up your plate and few days before this review and never said a word about anything else was wrong with the vehicle. It is a 2020 Mustang with only 8k miles on it and all you are doing is blowing us up because of 1 service advisor. The first time you contacted us was Friday evening the 19th and expected an immediate resolution. I have been out of town since last Thursday and my staff has repeatedly asked you to just wait until I got back. Then I gave you a ring this morning, Monday the 22nd, and left a message since no one was available. Then it seems right after I left a message, we receive 4 bad reviews on all websites plus threaten my staff that you are going to drive up here. Unfortunately that is not the way to resolve a business dispute Right? WRONG.

Went to Bluewater Motorsports with the vehicle I wanted in mind. Told them what I wanted. Never once did they try to change my mind. Fast service and wonderful staff. Got it done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend you checking them out for yourself. Great experience. Thank you all at Bluewater Motorsports for helping me with the purchase of my new truck.

Dealt with Steven throughout the whole process of trading my vehicles, to purchasing a BMW X3 Competition to delivering the vehicle, every step of the way was great!! Would highly recommend Bluewater and Steven!! He is even kind of funny. LOL

Toyota 4Runner

Thank you, Greg and Paul! Excellent communication! I drove 2 hours to pick up my car and they sent pictures and communicated through texts and calls. Very professional to deal with. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Thanks, guys! I love my 4Runner:)

Highly recommended

Great dealership to work with. I’ve purchased 3 vehicles from them in the past and have had only positive experiences with each purchase. Vehicles and warranty packages are all priced really good for the surrounding area.
