Went to Used Car King specifically because I was unable to find the specific kind of car I was looking for anywhere else. They had 3 Alfa Romeo Giulias... on the lot, so I went out to check one out. They were able to let me test drive the car on their lot exclusively, which was odd, but OK. Due to the COVID Pandemic, the experience was odd, but I was understanding given the circumstances. Car was in fantastic condition, except for one scratch on the passenger side, that I asked about, and was told would be taken care of. Erin, my sales person, was wonderful start to finish. The first issue I ran into, was the flexibility. After the purchase was done, all that was left to do was take delivery of the car. I live/work an hour away, and the dealership closes at 5pm due to the COVID restricted hours. I asked if they might have someone available to stay a little late, as it would be hard for me to get out that early. I was told that "their sales people do not make commission, so no one would be willing to stay after 5pm". That was a bit of a surprise, but again, I went with it. The paperwork was easy, and the car looked good and detailed in the garage. My first stop after pick up was the gas station across the street, as the car was on empty, with the gas light on. Upon arrival home, I noticed that the scratch that was promised to be taken care of was not touched. I went over this with my sales person, and the sales manager, both who assured me it would be touched up. The next day, I reached out to the dealership, disappointed that it was not touched. I was told that the service people missed it, and I can drive it back (the hour) to have them touch it up, but it would not be matching paint. I was told either that, or I would have to order paint from Alfa Romeo directly, which would come out of my pocket, even though I was told they would take care of it. Now, we are less than 3 weeks later, and I just had to watch the car be flat bedded away to the Alfa dealership, due to other electronics issues, likely battery related (I was told). Frustrated by everything that happened with this situation, I tried to call Used Car King on Thursday of last week to talk to them about all of these issues, mainly to let management know about all of these issues so they don't happen to the next person, and did not receive a call or email back. Working in the service industry, I know how hard COVID has impacted businesses, and the way they run their day-to-day operations. But having issues from the sales manager, to the service department, and now no response to my calls, I needed to say something. I hope the next people to buy from them do not have these issues. They seem to have a solid business there, but no one should have to deal with these things when buying a $25k used car. Not within 3 weeks.
I found a used 2019 model vehicle I'd been looking for here. Dealing with buying a car from another state while the country was locked down was a bit... of a challenge but they were helpful throughout. Indeed they ruined a lot of used car dealer jokes for me by being honest, helpful, and responsive both during and after the purchase. They arranged to have the vehicle delivered to me for a very reasonable price (much less than it would have cost me to get there to pick up the vehicle and drive back) and were very responsive both during and after the sale to help me deal with titling paperwork. It was, somewhat to my surprise, a completely positive experience.
I went in to Sun Auto to look for my first car, I had been keeping an eye on a Fiat that they had on their website, and when I saw the price drop I decided... to try for it. I scheduled a test drive for later that week, the person on the phone was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived at the lot, we were met by Billy Grasso. He was GREAT!! So helpful and honest and funny, joked around with us and made it very welcoming, and got us set with a test drive. To be honest, the Fiat wasn't for me, but Billy walked with us around the lot, pointing out cars that were in my price point, and led me to a Hyundai Accent. It was love at first drive! Within an hour, she was mine! Finance was a breeze, pickup even easier, and he helped explain all the details of all the forms and the perks for getting a car with Sun Auto. I would DEFINITELY recommend him to anyone looking for a car, he was very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you Billy!!

Robert Gallagher was very arrogant and made my car buying experience very stressful. He routinely lied to my face and made us wait for a long time to do... the paperwork when I was picking up my car. Then he had the nerve to try to rush us through the paperwork because it was almost 8pm and he wanted to go home (we arrived to pick up the car at 6pm). The car had a screw in the tire which took a while to be plugged and we had to tell them that there was a problem with the tire because they didn't even know it. Robert didn't tell us important information about the car and couldn't focus for more than 5 minutes at a time. I do not recommend this salesman to anyone! Its a really good thing that I LOVE my car because otherwise I would have walked out with nothing.
My son has a 3 inch repair paper work for this car. It has had 3 engines, any many problems with the car. He has dropped thousand of dollars into this... car. I would think you would give him a break and a new car. To me that is good business. Love Sun Chevy dealership but come on guys help this person out
Would definitely suggest Sun to others. I dare say it was almost fun. And what a facility. With great customer amenities. I would come again and will suggest... this place to others.
