Bought a $30,000 truck from them in January this year. I have had it approx. 10 months and have put 8,000 total miles on it. I got up last week to take... my daughter to school and the truck had a 'tick' in the motor. I took the truck to them, they charged me almost $1000 to pull the truck apart and investigate the tick. They called me approx. 5 days later and said that the motor was bad and it'd be $13,000 MORE to repair it. 2014 GMC Sierra Denali I purchased with 63k miles on it, tick started @ 71k miles. Candi Steffes is my service department contact, I purchased the truck from the Svc Dept. Manager's son, Tyler Morris. Can has tried to be helpful but her tone is not the most friendly when she cant explain why the truck 8,000 miles after purchasing has a bad motor and why I'm the one who's responsible for it. After I processed their initial response of $13k I asked for details, which ultimately comes down to this motor having issues to begin with in regards to Lifters collapsing and Push rod's getting bent along with the slew of other issues that go along with such problems, I was then hit with an alternative of $10k and this would be with a motor that was not brand new, but GM certified. I scoffed again....so they then sent me an itemized breakdown of what it would cost to just straight repair the problem, which was around the $5,000 mark..... Upon inspection of their breakdown, they essentially 'itemized' the heck out of me.....20 gaskets billed individually...packs of screws...washers....nuts...bolts....volts....you name it. The amount of was approx. $1800 by their numbers and the additional $3500 was labor. As of the time I write this review, they currently have had my truck now for 10 days(while I continue to pay for it) and I've been stuck driving my son's little Mazda b2300 that's 30 years old while I wait for a callback on how they want to proceed. They committed to calling me back on Friday 11/20/20 however that didn't happen. when I called in today, Candi just basically said when she see's Tyler she'll have him give me a call......umm...ok....wow, thanks. For a company that professes to treat everyone they work with like family, I don't know any family members that would sell me a lemon for $30,000 and then refuse to help me out on the end. I brought my truck in with electrical issues after being rear ended, as the trailer wiring harness had been damaged. They replaced the batteries, and... a few other components, but like the 3 other shops I've taken my truck to, they weren't able to fully diagnose or fix the issue. I did however have two new dents in my passenger side doors when I got my truck back. The truck has other (bigger but less noticeable) dents from before I bought it last year, so I was planning to replace those door panels regardless, but it sucks to see my truck more damaged after being serviced than before. I called a few times to let them know the damaged electrical had only been partially fixed, and about the new damage, and never got a call back. I do however get 3-6 emails a week asking how they did and if I want to trade my truck for a new one yet...

Working with Knudtsen Chevrolet has restored my trust in a Manufacturer's dealership. Others have turned me off in recent years with their inept, systematic,... out-of touch ways of dealing with customers. Knudtsen got it right in the sales department and followed that customer-based priority through the service department as well! Great Job!
They were able to get me in on a very busy day to get my car serviced. Did an excellent job. Fast and friendly Bought my Equinox there 5 years ago. ... Will stay with Knutson in the future.

So since my purpose for there, at the beginning it was great even years fown the line. In the last 6 years, i have had to fight tooth and nail for the... deal of tires for life. One year my husband had to agrue until it was honored. I get my regular oil changes try and get my other services done and constantly. As soon as they say i need tires i remind them about our tires for life deal. This last time in july, the service guy didnt want to even spend the time to give me an estimate on the work i needed done. This vehicle has never been touched anywhere else. After the service guy after last visit said i had receibed all the tires i could. Immediate pist me off. I have been a customer and feel that i have been lied to. I can no longer do my services through Knudtsen Chevy. I today am having becker buick take over my maintenance, honesty is hard to find. I can no longer trust the reputation or customer service. My apologizes
