BEWARE. We took our Volvo 2012 XC60 to the Ontario location for a 90,000 mile check up. Car was running great. The car was there a full day with no contact from Volvo. I called the dealer to see why no one contacted us, and they said someone would text a list of needed repairs. The cost of the estimate was $12,000 (!!!) - far more than the value of the car. We didn't even get a call from the service center explaining the issues. Just an impersonal text with no follow up. We declined the issues they deemed required "immediate attention" and took the car to our local mechanic to see if he agreed. Of the approx 10 issues Volvo noted, this mechanic said only two needed to be performed at all, and neither were emergencies. The total cost was under $1,000. This Volvo dealership has come under new management in the past year, and this is not the service we were used to receiving in the past. Yes, a dealer is usually more expensive than other mechanics. But $12,000 for a list of items that weren't even broken is scandalous. (To unclog a tube in the sunroof, Volvo estimated nearly $4,000. We took it to our local mechanic and had it done for $135.) We placed multiple calls to the GM and did not even get a call back. We were also told that if we wrote a negative review, the company would have lawyers come after us. Are these the kind of people Volvo wants representing their company? I am so disappointed; I had expected to be a Volvo fan for life. BEWARE doing business with this location if you are not incredibly well-versed in auto repair. We checked the Better Business Bureau and it looks like they are not members. This isn't surprising information in retrospect. My actual rating is 0 stars, but Google doesn't allow it.

Excellent Service as always
The service center advisors have always surpassed excellence with the way they treat me and how informed they keep me while I wait. Also, the level of professionalism of all Volvo of Ontario employees is top notched. I love my car and I love the service I receive from your company. Best purchase ever!

Excellent service every time! Always used this dealership! Parts store is also well stocked so it is convenient to get supplies right away instead of having to wait for orders to come in!

Truly believe in Customer Satisfaction!
Very dedicated and customer oriented dealership. I drove 100 miles and they had all the paperwork ready for me to sign as I electronically sent all the documents. Took me 15-20 minutes to get the paperwork signed and complete formalities. They stayed beyond their work hours to get me the car. They truly live the motto "anything for customer satisfaction". Every mile driving to them was worth it! Kudos to my sales expert Syed (goes by Sach), Tim and Jim (Both Finance).

Total miss and not happy with outcome
I originally took my car for maintenance. My car was not acting weird prior to me dropping my car off. I picked it up late Saturday afternoon and drove it straight home and the car didn’t show any signs of something being wrong. It wasn’t u to the next morning at the stop light that my car started shaking and jerking at the red light. When I turned the car off the car accelerated itself before shaking itself off. I immediately called the dealer to speak with Juan. He wasn’t able to get me into until Tuesday to check to see what was going on. He discovered the hose was torn. Seems like a big coincidence that the hose was torn after the maintenance work that was completed. The trip back to the dealer cost me a car rental and missed business meetings. I shared with Juan how displeased I was and I was essentially dismissed and not taken seriously. I asked him if he could provide a discount to account for my loss of time and car rental which Volvo did not pay but that was not done. I have been a good customer and don’t appreciate this last experience and I am not looking forward to returning to this service center. I can take my business elsewhere we’re I am not dismissed or not taken seriously.

Seamless Transaction
It was a seamless transaction. Larry Smith my Product Specialist was patient , knowledgeable and respectful of my time, needs and my attitude towards buying a new Volvo. This is my 5th Volvo and because of the quality of the Cars and Service, i continue to return.

Great Dealership to work with
We got the 2019 XC90 with very few miles on the odometer and it was very prepared for delivery. However, there is strong odor from the car and we discussed this with the sales department. They took the car back in after they secured a good XC90 loaner for us. After the treatment, the issue is largely resolved and we give them good points for stepping up big time when things are not right. The sales person Michael is very good since this is a custom order and he has been polite throughout the whole lengthy process. The GM Brett is also fantastic in extending us a great pricing on this one. The sales manager Jim is also great in taking care of us the right way. We also had previous experience with the dealership service department since we owned a 2016 XC90 and they are more than a wonder to work with. Always on time and very professional. We would definitely remain a life Volvo owner given this great experience we have had from this dealership. They are renovating but the people working there make it up big time now.
