Lousy service, lousy customer care

My son bought a certified GM 2018 Colorado from Gilleland in June 2020. A few days ago the oil cooler lines broke, persistent Chevy problem, leaving him on the side of I94 at night. He called a tow truck and took it to a mechanic to get it repaired. He needed it fixed ASAP for work and didn't think of taking it to a Chevy dealer. I contacted the Gilleland salesman about this looking for a reimbursement on the approx $500 repair bill and was told he would have to get approval. Zero communication from the salesman or the business manager on this matter since that initial email. We have bought two vehicles from Gilleland and based on this latest matter it's probably the last time. After reading other negative Gilleland reviews, this type of business behavior is what everyone can expect from them.

Everything went great, love my new truck and enjoyed the painless purchasing process

Bad customer service

First appoint was a no show on my free oil change by the dealership. Wasted my entire day making sure I was available. Called and spoke with a man who didnt have time for me. I called back to speak to a manager and then receptionist said one would call me and I'm still waiting on that to happen, and assume it never will. At this point I won't be going back. Purchase two brand new cars from there, and Mike's great, but service department and follow through apparently not the same.

Great experience

We purchased a 2020 Equinox from Gilleland this past week. John Kline and the staff there went above and beyond. It was the easiest car buying experience we have ever had. Thanks again to everyone there!!!

Great dealership, excellent service!

Gilleland

Good salesman, gave us many options and ideas. The problem area is staying within budget of 100 dollars a month. 120 would be pushing it bad. The finance People try to get you to go way over budget and the interest rates are insane. They will not help you get a decent car unless you are willing to go beyond your means. I am not into losing the down payment, the car any trade in and having to pay for outrageous fees after all is said and done. It turned out to be a waste of time, but was a good experience with friendly people.
