Preston Toyota of Boardman is the most lying most deceitful dealership I have ever dealt with. Jay Albanese (sales manager) and Kevin Bertilacel (internet... sales) are the most dishonest sales related people I have ever met. I was completely misled and lied to about specific questions and information I requested. My family and I drove six hours to purchase this vehicle. We bought a vehicle with many major problems and barley made the trip back home. In less than eight hours, I traded the vehicle for the the same model and counted my losses as a lesson learned. They did smile a lot and offer me something to drink numerous times. DEFINITELY BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!!!
Hello Mr Mitchell, We aren't sure what else we could have done differently. We sent every picture before you made the trip, it was a 208,000 mile Hon...da. We checked it through our shop and it passed our safety inspection. As stated, It appears you had an issue driving at 80 mph, but you didn't call us to let us know that you were having an issue. As we always do, we would have had it checked out by a local dealer close to you. Unfortunately you traded it before we had a chance to offer that. We know we were selling that vehicle for a fair price as well. We are sorry for how the transaction unfolded. It is never our intention to have someone unhappy with us, one car deal for us is never worth it to our team. We try to always provide a great experience with a great product. Bought a used Ford from them over the Internet. Spoke with Bubba (how cool is that name?) and worked with him throughout the day and he did a great job... of being up-front about the car and what he could do for me as far as price, etc. There were a few small issues, which he took care of before I drove the nearly two hours to get there (including a spur-of-the-moment solution that was pretty darn clever). Purchase was smooth, car was clean and even had new tires! The 3,000 mile limited warranty, while not totally comprehensive, is a great piece of mind to have. Would purchase again from Bubba and the crew at Boardman again.

After shopping around several other dealerships, my wife and I stopped at Toyota of Boardman to look at a couple of used trucks we had seen online. We... were greeted by Kyle Richeal who was a great, easy going salesman who actually knows how to listen. There's wasn't an ounce of pressure and he was immediately ready with prices and answers to our questions. He stepped back and let us shop and helped steer us when we were looking for something specific. He was nice enough to stay late and let us test drive although we weren't settling on a vehicle that day. The test drive was worth it. The used truck felt like new and we decided to buy. When hubby takes our van in for maintenance, they do it, no problems. When I take it in, somethings wrong. Six months or so ago, it cost me around $800.... Three months ago, when hubby took van in for oil change, everything was fine. I took it in 3 months later for routine oil change and a wheel alignment from just getting back from a trip, and it needs $1200 in repairs. I tried to tell my husband not to send me there alone. That'll teach him! We took it to a VERY highly recommended mechanic and told him what the dealership said - all bull. I will NEVER return to this dealership again. And now I'm gun shy - hubby is never sending me alone for repairs. It's too expensive when you're not with a man. Hate to say it - just the way the world operates.
Hello- I would like to clarify this review. After talking to our staff I don't feel as if this is a very fair review. Our dealership really prides its...elf on doing what is right for the customer. Are we perfect? Absolutely not, but we try to be. We know Toyota's have a great history of not needing repairs, but there are times when they do. You brought in your 2005 Sienna with 155,000 miles on it. Our Master technician looked it over and found that the radiator as well as the steering rack and pinion was leaking- our technician wouldn't lie. We don't operate like that. You see we are always in a tough position when someone feels this way. If we don't tell you- the customer could get upset but when we do tell you - you could get upset. That is why we always just say what we find and leave it up to the customer. Now a leak? Sure you could drive it with a leak for awhile and nothing go wrong, or it could break down while you are driving down the highway during a trip. We don't have that answer. So if you would search across google, yelp, dealerrater, facebook at reviews you would see that most of our customers feel differently. We aren't perfect, yes we make mistakes, but please don't insinuate that our employees were trying to take advantage of you. I'm sorry for how you feel. Thank you, Shane Lanigan Operating Partner
