    Great, great experience; although we spent several hours at the dealership; everyone was very courteous and attentive - all in all a very pleasant experience and to top if off we left that very day with a beautiful new Santa Fe Sport. Everyone was friendly. Our Sales Associate Victor was helpful and his focus was finding us the car we wanted and, he did just that. This is our second time back to Shawnee Mission Hyundai -- my suggestion is that when in the market for a new or used car that you visit this dealership -- you will not be disappointed.

    Made reservation for 9.30am for oil change. Got there was told there was a 1.30 hour wait before the work could be done, guy said they were backed up. Your reservation system is crap. Valvoline did the work in 15 minutes. Goodbye Shawnee will not go there for service again

    Service department is horrible. Dropped off my car at 11:45 for a routine oil change and to have a minor recall item taken care of. Total time needed was 1-2 hours, according to them. So I left the car and told them I'd be back at 5pm to pick it up, more than 5 hours later. According to them, that would be no problem. Arrived promptly at 5pm...no car. Still up on the rack, no time estimate for completion. And, to add insult to injury, no one actually working on it because they decided to hold a staff meeting of all the service techs at 5pm. So I sat around waiting for their meeting to end and then had to sit some more for the car to finally be finished. Again, this was for work THEY said would take 1-2 hours max. I've been a loyal Hyundai driver for years, but I'll never buy one from or get service done at Shawnee Mission Hyundai again.

    I made a service appointment for 4:30 on a friday. I brought my car in, gave them my information, and agreed to leave it overnight because they overbooked and couldn't honor the appointment. I called at noon the next day and they said my car was next in line. They called me at 3:00 and said they couldn't look at it until Monday. What the hell is an appointment for if it takes them 72 hours to even look at the car???

    Bought a new car at Hyundai Shawnee Mission. Purchased what they described as a BUMPER TO BUMPER warrantee. My Sonata developmed paint problems while under warrantee, but I did NOT know it was a problem...technicians should have. Long story short: Car Paint DEFECTIVE. Manufacturer warrentee expired before I asked about paint chipping. Defaulted to BUMPER TO BUMPER warrantee, then informed it really wasn't bumper to bumper coverage...PAINT NOT INCLUDED. Then 2 or 3 service department supervisors told me it's a Hyundai problem, wait 'till visit by regional representative. All 2 or 3 left or were fired. Then, after 3 -4 years met with Regional Representative who said "normal wear and tear". Offered 10% discount on repair. I refused. Then Regional Representative fired by Hyundai. Complaint went to corporate...and, despite the internet filled with similar pictures of while Sonatas with same problem, Corporate said NO to helping me with repainting. So, until Shawnee Mission Hyundai helps pays for paint repair and apologizes to me for the hassle; NO SERVICE WORK to them anymore...and no purchase of additional Hyndai autos. (Had been in line to check into upcoming Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid.) Can't reccommend Shawnee Mission Hyundai to anyone...or Hyundai cars...based upon my experience. SHAME on Shawnee Mission Hyundai for selling me a BUMPER TO BUMPER warrantee that proved worthless. Also, technicians in shop should have pointed out to me the paint chipping, because they would have seen it in other cars with the PEARL paint. When will corporations learn they earn customers ONE AT A TIME...and lose them 5 - 10 at a time by what dissastified customers tell their friends. Since leaving Shwnee Mission Service Department, I've spent more thatn $4,000 on maintenance related to understandable wear and tear. The BARON GROUP that owns Shawnee Mission Hyundai should be aware of what's gone on at their Hyundai dealership.

    We were greeted at the door by Henry Frazier to help our daughter buy her first new car with her own financing. Henry immediately took the role of a facilitator and making sure she found the car she would be happy to own. He made us feel comfortable and was able to find just the right car she could afford, one that she was exited to own with all of the accessories she liked. When the final purchase price was negotiated after all of the rebates applied, her car purchase price was over budget by 304.00 and Henry was able to immediately to get the price reduced without us asking him to do so. He was able to get her in the car all prepped that same night for her drive home. We were so impressed with the sales, finance, and service folks who stayed late after hours to make it happen for our daughter, that her mother and I came back the next evening and bought another new vehicle from Henry and the staff at Shawnee Mission Hyundai. We highly recommend this Dealership for the friendly atmosphere and making you feel welcome rather than adversarial.
