THIS IS THE WORST experience ever and I ONLY gave a 1

THIS IS THE WORST experience ever and I ONLY gave a 1 star because goggle won't let you post it if you don't rate it! The SERVICE MANAGER literally acted like a BUTT HOLE! He was VERY RUDE and INCONSIDERATE. My 18 year old son brought his car in for a simple oil change, it was done, he picked the car up and drove it home(4 miles away) and parked his car as usual. When he left back out around 9:45pm he texted me stating that the car was making a loud noise and overheating. NOTHING was wrong with the car when he dropped it off. I advised him to contact the dealership because it shouldn't be making any noise. This was on Thursday night. He couldn't take it in on Friday because of prior commitments and they're not open on the weekend so he took it in this morning only to learn that the water pump is "broke". His car NEVER showed any signs or leaking nor did the car dashboard give any warning of anything being wrong. I called one of our friends who work in the service department at another dealership and asked if it's normal for the car to give a warning if the water pump is "going bad" and he said absolutely! But they're saying that it's actually broke off now WITH NO WARNING prior to the oil change that it was even going bad and to fix it will cost him $1700. That's BULL! Whatever incompetent person did the service is also responsible for that water pump being broke. The way the "service manager" spoke to me initially with NO COMPASSION about the situation is clearly showing that he knows more than he's ever going to admit. The whole service department lacks compassion from the front desk to the service manager. I will NEVER patronize this location EVER again. The only 5 star reviews they get is for actually selling cars BUT there's quite a few 1 star reviews about the actual service department. Shame on you BMW Solon! Taking advantage of a young man like that. I will also be sharing this same review across other sites so that hopefully someone else is WARNED before patronizing this location.

Service department went above and beyond to make

Service department went above and beyond to make replacing my seat cover under warranty easy. I had to adjust the appointment multiple times and they were always able to accommodate me

Called and spoke to “Jeff” this evening.

Called and spoke to “Jeff” this evening. Wanted to purchase a vehicle x5 50e advertised online. After asking for details and requesting an out the door price, he called me back and said they “would jot sell to anyone in Montana because those vehicles have ended up on boats…” the explanation made no sense… once I cooled off I called them back and expressed, as a military officer I believed their discrimination was inappropriate and likely illegal. During that conversation which was about 4-5 min after the prior, he said, “it does not matter anyway, the car has been sold…” the likelihood of the car selling in that timeframe is low and the likelihood this was a simple pretext for discrimination is high. Buyer beware… relationships are built on trust and clearly this dealership cannot be trusted based on my experience

I had a great experience when I bought my x4 at Cleveland

I had a great experience when I bought my x4 at Cleveland BMW. Odin Greene was a very good sales person. He saw to it that all my requests were taken care of. I saw the car I wanted online, he held it for me until I could get there from DC, and all the transactions went smoothly. All other personnel were equally as cordial. Again, I was very satisfied with the service I received from BMW of Cleveland.

Vehicle Service after Warranty

Vehicle service after warranty is pretty miserable. Immediately after the warranty was over my BMW sstarted showing several issues. I took it to dealership and they estimated a bill of around 7 thousand dollars. They wanted to replace a bunch of things to fix the issues. I took the car to the Swedish Solution service company. They repaired it in under $1600. Their diagnosis was completely different and they only changed the pistons which should've been changed as part of the warranty service by BMW Cleveland in the first place. Then recently there was an issue that Swedish Solution company wanted me to take to the dealership as it was related to the computer codes. Again dealership charged around $3K and send me away. The problem reappeared in a couple of days. The dealership wouldn't give me an appointment and I was expected to go thru the diagnostics again and pay them. I have personally lost all trust in their ability to diagnose vehicle issues and fix them. Besides they charge unreasonable amounts for barely fixing the problems. I didn't purchase the car from them so can't say about that experience. But stay away for any post warranty repairs. When money is coming out of your own pockets.

Purchased my BMW from them and initially I was happy once

Purchased my BMW from them and initially I was happy once I finally got the car…. However, I began to notice that the car was stalling when I started it and tried to drive off. I took it in to get diagnosed and they didn’t find anything wrong with it. For the past year and four months of having the car, I still have this issue. The car continues to idle when I start it and acts as if it wants to cut off from time to time. I took my car in recently for a routine service appointment. When I scheduled my appointment online 3 weeks ago, I requested a loaner vehicle and I mentioned other areas of the car that I would like them to look at including brakes and tires. I also mentioned again, the consistent issue with the idling/stalling. When I get there, I was notified that they weren’t notified that I needed a loaner car and my additional requests. I pulled up my email and provided proof of my notification which was also written in all caps. The service person informed that they don’t have the ability to see appointment notes so I asked what’s the point of having an area for appointment notes . These are important notes that the customer needs to share. She informed me that the “appointment note” section was useless. The only other options were to find a ride, wait for 3 hours, or reschedule for weeks out. Those options aren’t reasonable and were unexpected. When I shared information about the stalling/idling the service person shared that it’s “likely a programming issue” and would be happy to fix it for an additional $172. They informed me that the problem is a new solution that they came up with recently. However, how can I trust that “programming is the issue” this time after being told that there wasn’t an issue! I inquired about the guaranteed free car wash service however, I was denied that as we’ll because of the temperature. By the time they get to the vehicle, it’ll be over 32 degrees… This is my first vehicle that I have purchased and if this is the luxury vehicle experience… this is terrible. These are things that drive current and potential customers away! I have seriously consider alternative options then with BMW because of this. Companies still fail to realize that it’s the small things that keep customers happy and satisfied. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been my experience here lately…

Loaners aren’t provided for repair of older BMW vehicles (older than 2016). I must have a newer vehicle to be treated like a valued customer? This is not good customer service for a luxury vehicle. I’m still paying a luxury vehicle price but without all benefits. Is BMW saying they only care for people that own newer cars? What about us dedicated car owners? On to Lexus or MB I guess. Smh.

I worked with Jeff Allen. I was looking for a very rare allocation and Jeff spent several days contacting other dealerships to have one of the last 12 build spots transferred to bmw Cleveland. Since none were willing to trade Jeff emailed me the list of dealers so that I could still lock down a build slot. Witho to making any commission he still ensured that I was a happy customer. I’ll buy my next car from Jeff!

The ethics and professionalism at this dealership is pathetic!! Arrived early to drive the vehicle I was planning on purchasing. Mind you....I made this appointment the day before. Upon early arrival I was told the vehicle was sold. I was never notified or given the opportunity to purchase and was told by the general manager....”Can I be honest with you??? It’s all about the money. I apologize!!!” What HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I’m appalled!!!
