The worst dealership I have ever worked with. In the short six months I have owned my car it has had to be serviced 3 times for serious issues, twice... within a week of driving off the lot. The issues ranged from the fuel pump not working properly to needing a CAT Converter replaced because it was deteriorating. I now have additional issues due to the CAT service that was done and GMC Nyle Maxwell no longer "feels accountable" for. I was also told, "I am not sure what you were expecting of a car for the money you spent." (which was 10 thousand by the way) by my sales rep when I asked how did you deem the vehicle as certified used and there was no true pre-inspection done, because if it was the issues that have caused me to repeatedly come back for would have been found from the beginning prior to my purchase. Not only did I feel belittled for buying a used car by the salesman but I am also a single mother stuck with a poor functioning vehicle. On a scale of 1 to 10 I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND all they care about is money not the customer!
We are not pleased to hear of the incident you've described in this review. We were not aware of these issues with the car until informed us after you... took the vehicle to another shop to get it fixed but once you informed us we assisted you with the repairs. Took my truck in a few years ago to have the transmission serviced. They replaced the torque converter and it appeared to be fixed. A few years later the... same issues are occurring and I take it to another dealer who determines that Maxwell damaged the replacement trans filter during installation. Maxwell's service manager Rick Wheeler's opinion was something should have happened while it was under warranty otherwise they couldn't care less. This would be the 2nd time I've had issues with Maxwell's service department and shoddy workmanship. Tom Gammon, the general manager who responded below, indicated that they would be willing to correct the issue at no cost to me and basically strung me along for a week and then ultimately declined to cover their mistake. They authorized the other dealer to fix the issue and then declined to cover it thereby holding my vehicle under ransom until I had to pay for their mistake. I really wish I could give them zero stars.
