  • Do Not Waste Your Time

    After reviewing Cruze Hatchbacks on-line, I recommended that sister go there and I had planned to co-sign... my credit score is greater than 800. Fir

    st they show $17,990 on website with blue text underneath saying that Chevrolet is offering 0% for 72 months. Nope. You can have $17.990 (which includes $4,000 rebate) or 0% interest - not both... I find that a little misleading. They run the credit applications and come back with ridiculous numbers as if they didn't want to sell the car. I call and ask that they run against my credit only - tell me that they might not be able to do that because I live in another state. I ask if I borrow money here and send check would that work and the salesman gulped and said yes ma'am. So here I sit 4 hours later still waiting to hear back from this salesman about whether or not he can or will finance this car. Guess what?!?! It no longer matters. I will take my excellent credit somewhere else and buy my sister's car.

    earch you will find this is a common practice. We disclose this on several places on our website. Also, like most manufacturers we do occasionally have the opportunity to offer 0% for 72 months. That offer is almost always in lieu of the manufactures rebates. Again, we disclose this on several places on our webpage. In regards to financing a car for your sister, what you were suggesting we do violates NC law and our lender agreements. It would be what is called a “Straw Purchase Auto Loan”. Please Google that for more detail. It may be legal in your state, which is why we suggest you check. I am truly sorry for any confusion you had in your purchase.
