Sold me a Range Rover Velar with many problems. The service center is open on saturdays, but yet they don't want to fix my car problems on Saturdays.... I live in Mississippi and Bluff city is 3 hrs away and they only want me to get my car on weekdays. This is annoying.
I’ve taken my vehicle to the dealership at least four (4) times for the same issue. My car’s coolant light kept coming on (coolant pressure... low). After having it repaired, the light continued to come on and each time I took it back I was given another excuse. I was told that it was a different part of the coolant pump/line that needed to be replaced. They are nothing more than a rip off at that dealership/service department. Had it been under warranty they would have corrected the issue the first time. I have not had a good experience with them in regards to servicing my vehicle. In addition to the bad service, I had a firearm stolen from my glove compartment while my car was being serviced. The cameras revealed someone going in and removing it, but they tried to deny it. I had to file a police report and get a detective involved. I like my Jag, but I hate having to deal with them, so I’ve started taking my vehicle elsewhere.
Excellent, service with problem completely resolved
I recently took my car (XJ L) in for service. Spent $1800.00. When I picked the car up I noticed a crack in one of my trim pieces. It was not there... when I dropped it off. I was given the run around at first. I spoke to several of the service reps before speaking with the manager. They treated me as if I was not telling the truth! I felt very humiliated. I was a loyal customer and had been coming to Bluff City Jaguar for years! I am very disappointed.
The purchase was great. We were promised a follow up after the purchase we waited and never heard from the dealership. We were told the vehicle could have... mobile service provided in Oxford Mississippi at the time of the sale. We had a light come on prematurely and was told service in Oxford would not be an option. A little disappointed after being told otherwise. We have enjoyed the car though.
I had an an early appt. and arrived on time, yet had to wait an hour before my service even began. Far worse, while waiting I considered taking my car... somewhere else and began calling for price comparisons. When I asked Bluff City Jag what they would be charging me that day I discovered that changing my brakes would be 3000$ !!!!!!! The shop I called would be charging 300$! — only 1/10 as much! Absurd. But for that price, at the very least I’d expect I’d be seen on time. I got my car and left. Never again. One more thing, if you plan to charge customers outrageous prices you should warn them.
They have kept this LR3 with over 200,000 miles running like new
While driving my car home from a nearby restaurant the big red Low Coolant light symbol appeared on my dash board. I called Jaguar Bluff City and told... them that I needed to bring it in to get checked out, the gentleman in the service department told me I could drop it off but that they were backed up and it may take a couple days to get to it and they didn't have any loaner cars available.....so I kinda had no choice but to drop it off, dropped it off on May 17th, 2018, a Thursday, thinking I would be without my car for the entire weekend, but to my surprise, Friday afternoon, Dane, one of the Service Reps. called and said my car was ready, he said it was a sensor issue and that it was replaced...… needless to say, I was very pleased with the quick turnaround, was not looking forward to being without a vehicle and trying to schedule the use of my wife's vehicle when she was not using it...… so thanks Jaguar Bluff City, excellent job.
