I had gotten cars with another salesman.Wade has been doing this for 19 years -he is horrific as is the owner. The worst experience ever. I paid cash for... one car and leased another.I had to do so much myself- Could not belief it. I am not a salesman.WADE is ignorant Never, ever, ever again-good luck to you
Stay away from this shop. Purchased a 2016 Range Rover on Dec 12, 2019 for $50K and it needed a whole new transfer case 2 weeks later ($10K repair). No... help from owner or salesman to resolve this issue. They said vehicle was just at Range Rover Denver for an entire vehicle inspection as warranty was ending. They told me to talk to Range Rover Denver to fix issue. Greenwood Automotive was no help in working with RR Denver to help me get the issue fixed. I'm not a mechanic but I would guess you would find a transfer case that needs repair when doing inspection. If they are going to treat customers that are purchasing $50K vehicles I could only imagine the quality of lesser vehicles they are purchasing at auction. At the end of the day I had to pay $10K out of pocket to fix. Pour customer service, DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY!
Had a great experience with Steve Schwegmann. I was in the market for an '08 Outback XT. There was one on the lot and I test drove it. Steve allowed... me to take the vehicle so that I could have my mechanic look it over. I was later getting back to the dealership, but Steve stayed around for me. When it came to financing, I had already been pre-approved through my bank. Steve was able to talk to his connections and get me an even lower rate through my bank. I will definitely recommend Steve and Greenwood to others.
Bob, we strive to make the experience great for everyone, glad to hear we hit the mark with you! Hope you come back on your next purchase.
I've been living in Castle Rock for 11 years now and found Greenwood Automotive about 8 years ago. I typically changes vehicles every 9-16 months for the... simple fact, I like new rides. The crew at Greenwood ALWAYS hooks me up. From taking back my last car to putting me into a new one, the process in literally seamless for me. Over the past 8 years I've purchased and traded in a dozen vehicles without regret. This past week a Mercedes E500 caught my eye and within 2 hours I drove it home, seemless. I literally no longer shop anywhere else. Do yourself a favor, call Steve at Greenwood and treat yourself to a new ride.
When we went to buy our Jeep there was one guy working. He was just starting the paperwork with a sale. We wanted to but this Jeep that sold itself so... we had lunch next door, we came back and he was still helping the lady. He told us I will give you a nice discount for waiting. We samtayed another hour and when he started doing our paperwork he said he could not do any discount because it was at its “lowest price”. I didn’t care because we wanted the Jeep but don’t tell me you will do something and then not do it. We live 90 minutes from here so he had to do our taxes differently and we paid them. When we went to get our plates from DMV month later they said the check for taxes Greenwood gave us was wrong and would not give us any plates. We had to buy new temp tags. We contacted greenwood who said the check was right, the DMV gave them the numbers the check should have been and they said they would send out a check right away, couple days later the heck came in and we headed to the DMV and again. 2nd hour waits at the DMV we get up there with new check and DMV says it’s wrong again. This time the DMV gives us the info and we contact Greenwood kinda pissed this time, they assure us they have it right this time and will get it taken care of. Week later we hear nothing, we call back to find out the person that was helping us has quit!!!!! We had to start over and we finally get a correct check. This place is horrible. Unprofessional staff, shady place. Try looking at other places
I had been looking for a Highlander for over a month and saw a nice one at Greenwood. I have talked to a number of sales people and by far Tom was the... most down to earth. There was no pressure and he did what he said he would do. He helped me get a great rate for my loan and the experience was sooth and relatively easy. I would recommend buying from Greenwood Automotive.
Well, and then there is Paul Martin. Very knowledgeable, humorous but professional with listening skills made the transaction of buying a used car from... Greenwood Automotive so effortless and in no time I left with a good car and an even better experience which is ultimately what I was looking for. Paul delivered. Want something similar ==> ask for him!
I recently purchased a vehicle from Greenwood Automotive and I can’t speak highly enough about the experience. From the initial test drive to signing the... final documents, Tom Berry and the staff at Greenwood made the process extremely comfortable, pressure free and very accommodating. Due to an issue with my hand I have a hard time writing/signing a lot of documents but Tom was nothing but patient and helpful. That alone earns the highest marks for me but getting a great Wrangler at a very good price was also a nice bonus. Thanks again, Tom.
WOW!!! What a great buying experience with Steve from Greenwood Automotive. I Googled 2008 Corvette Convertible for sale, Google took me to several sites... to include Greenwood Automotive, saw the Atomic Orange 2008 Corvette for sale, entered my contact information, Bingo, Steve called me in New York State within 10 minutes. Having never bought a vehicle from a website or over the telephone, Steve walked me through the entire process to include transportation from Colorado to upstate New York. All paperwork was completed and bingo I had the car delivered in 10 days!! The car was in better condition/shape that I could have ever impinged, pristine condition, 9.9 out of 10!! Best car buying experience ever......better than when I went to dealerships for previous automobile purchases !! Steve was very helpful, responsive and professional to all of my many questions via the telephone and e-mail......really the best car buying experience I have ever enjoyed!! I would not hesitate to buy additional vehicles from Steve and Greenwood Automotive. Oh, by the way, the retail price was the BEST of any 2008, low mileage Corvette convertibles that I researched, very fair price, great condition.
Buyer beware!!!! HORRIBLE experience. From the start in talking with Steve about a vehicle they posted on line, he was rude and not interested in negotiating... on price. 2 days later they dropped the price on line by $1,000. We then called back. After discussing a potential price, Steve said they COULD NOT provide a window sticker since they DID NOT have one. We were getting a little suspicious, so we checked out reviews outside their website (well known sites to post comments). Many comments listed having a horrible experience with Steve and the owner, and that they listed incorrect vehicle descriptions. We went ahead, since people can have a different perspective. The comments were unfortunately TRUE! We almost had signed paperwork, already bought the flight to CO to obtain the vehicle and noticed that the vehicle did not have features in the Limited version they stated on their online post. They said it was a "serious insinuation" about having an incorrect listing, and said that WE should call our local parts department to verify it was a Limited. They are selling a top of the line vehicle, why don't THEY know what they're representing or help the customer do this? Did not strike me as helpful or friendly. Gut check, similar to what people said on line. Now we WERE REALLY concerned. We confirmed it was NOT a Top of Line version and rescinded our paperwork. After pushing them to investigate, they realized they misrepresented the vehicle on line. Finally they produced a window sticker. I guess the Owner had it. REALLY STRANGE! After pushing to talk directly with the owner about the situation, (the day before my flight to CO) he was rude, did not negotiate on price (even though they made a glaring misrepresentation of the vehicle - a $15,000 difference in upgrades) and he hung up on the call discussing the sitation. We would've taken just $1,000 off the price for THEIR mistake. Owner refused anything, he stated they could sell the vehicle that day to someone else. Customer service, WOW, that's how they do business. In my 20 years of buying vehicles, I've never experienced such a horrible way of conducting a business discussion. I would highly recommend doing EXTENSIVE research and don't let them twist your words around. We are out the price of an outside independent review of the vehicle and the cost of a flight, but will gladly buy elsewhere. Be VERY careful with these guys!
