Absolutely horrible service. Came in with $2000 down and a 650 credit score and got screwed on a buy here/pay here loan. $10,000 for a 2009 Impala with 140,000 miles. And when I got my vehicle after I had my loaner for two weeks, the brakes were grinding first week I had it back. I had to put brakes and rotors on all four wheels. I came here because of the commercials, and the reputation that I thought you withheld I was wrong!

Ive been to many dealerships, and this was BY FAR the worst one i have ever experienced. They were huge liars and only had their best interest in mind. They don’t care about their customers. They are only interested in getting as much money as possible, regardless if that means screwing over their customers. I will never purchase a car from these cheapskates and i will NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone. Horrible, horrible, horrible experience. Very thankful I saw the true colors of this dealership before I purchased a car from these xxxxxxxx!! (:

We are sorry to hear about your experience Emily. I would like to recap this situation. You were here the first time on Dec. 31st. and we couldn't get you approved due to credit history, lack of money down and low income because you only work part time. You came back Saturday 1/26/2019 accompanied by your father and stated that you now had $4000 to put toward your purchase. With your permission we submitted your credit application to try obtain a loan approval. We chose 2 specific banks because we knew they would be our only chance at getting an exception on the income requirements. Unfortunately you still didn't qualify for a conventional loan. Then we went ahead and tried to get you approved with our in house financing (BHPH). Since you have a limited income and are full time college student we wanted to keep you in a low mileage vehicle that still qualified for our BHPH program. We only had one vehicle that we felt would meet all of the qualifications at the time. That was a 2009 Jeep compass 74,153 miles which we had priced at $10981.00 online. We discounted the jeep $1000 in order help keep it in the payment range that you were comfortable with. When you expressed your dislike for that vehicle and explained that you thought we were over priced due to a value that you found on KBB, we then explored one other option. The only other vehicle that we might be able to try was a chrysler 300. Which we explained had high miles and was rear wheel drive. Please remember that when we do in house financing that Preferred Automotive is the bank and we look at what will best fit you and our loan risk. I know you didn't understand why you couldn't choose any car you liked. We have strict guidelines for what qualify for in house financing. As salesman and sales managers we don't decide which cars qualify, that is the job of our in house financing team. You stated in a text message to your sales person that you were upset because we didn't try hard enough to get you approved because we only submitted your credit to one bank. We deal with these banks on a daily basis and have a very good relationship and understanding on what each bank is looking for in a car loan. If we didn't then we would only be left with one option, and that would be to send your credit to every bank that we use and that would extremely hurt your chances of getting approved in the future. It also hurts our relationship with the banks when we send applications that don't qualify. So we take both of these things very serious. We are professionals and do care about our customers and their credit. We take your comments to heart and will try to improve our process. We have a different philosophy than a lot of other dealers, we don't want to sell you just one car, we want to build a relationship, hopefully sell you, your family and your friends cars. We do work very hard behind the scenes to get our customers approved. Unfortunately sometimes we cant sell a car to every person due to circumstances outside our control. We take our online reviews very serious and work extremely hard to make every customer happy. Once again I apologize that you weren't happy with the outcome but I can assure you we never tried to take advantage of you or lie to you.
Bought New Car!
I applied on a Thursday and recieved a call from Chris to bring in certain documents so he could work really hard on getting me approved. Kyle called me Friday to keep me updated on what was going which was nice. Between Chris & Kyle they worked hard on getting me approved for my new 2016 Ford Focus fully loaded. Met with Chris at 3 to test drive the car & fell in love. Chris made sure the car was washed & ready to go while I met with Kyle to go over everything & sign papers. Both Chris & Kyle worked really hard & I was able to purchase my car. They were awesome with everything! I'm proud to be part of the Preferred Automotive Group Family. I'd recommend anyone who's looking for a car to go see Chris & Kyle.

Handed off and totally mishandled
I called and had a sales associate named Josh or Jason working to find me a car. He said he would call me later that day (Friday). He didn't call. Saturday I called the dealership and another sales associate of the same name was given my call. he said he would take care of me. Said he would call back in 1/2 hour. No call in an hour. Called back and spoke to him again. Said he would call back by the end of the day. He never called back. No one did.

Unhappy return customer
Purchased a car here I was buying it for my daughter who is a single parent and needed a reliable car. I have purchased numerous cars from Preferred so I thought I could trust them. I was told by our sales lady that it had the 100000 mile warranty. Less than a year later the car needs 2000 dollars worth of repairs and they won't stand behind the promises they made. I will never forget, and I will never buy a car here again.

Fuel pump and bearing seal repair
My truck broke down in Ft. Wayne. AAA wrecker delivered me to Preferred Auto. Everyone there was very pleasant in my bad situation. I was very pleased with the service and repairs. Thank you all for helping me.
