AFTER ABOUT 2 MONTHS OF PURCHASING A VEHICLE FROM THEM THE AC WENT OUT. I HAVE PUT SO MUCH MONEY INTO THE CAR THAT IM IN THE PROCESS OF TRADING IT IN ...BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS GOING WRONG. I HAD NO IDEA THE CAR HAD BEEN IN "2" ACCIDENTS PRYOR TO ME BUYING IT . ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT ALL OF THERE CARS LOOK GOOD ON THE OUTSIDE BUT UNDER THE HOOD IS NOOOOO GOOD!!! IF YOU WANT A PIECE OF JUNK THEN BUY A CAR FROM THEM IF YOU WANT SOMETHING RELIABLE THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO
Car purchased: 3/27/12. Mold discovered: 7/12/13. Car declared totaled due to mold 9/9/3. Since purchase, vehicle has had strange odor, but was never ...too sure what the cause was. At purchase, there was discoloration onthe seats, (assumingly from something spilling causing a stain - not uncommon with used vehicles) but now it is apparent that mold had been previously removed by cleaning to attempt to cover up mold that was caused from pre-existing moisture damage. Contacted dealer 7/12/13 to notify him of such occurrence & his response was, "Well, it wasn't on the CarFax." He showed no concern or remorse. CORRECT. It wasn't on the CarFax because we wouldn't have bought it if we had known, which is why the damage was covered up! THE ONLY REASON WE DISCOVERED IT & STOPPED DRIVING AT DISCOVERY WAS BECAUSE WE WENT TO HAVE IT DETAILED SO THAT WE COULD TAKE IT ON VACATION THE FOLLOWING DAY & THE DETAILER SENT A VIDEO & PICTURE SHOWING THE EXTENT OF THE DAMAGE. So on that day (7/12/13) we ceased driving it all together. Once air stoped circulating, the mold was able to live above surface.
