My family and I have purchased 4 cars and one truck from Joe...always enjoyed the visit...and found when things did go wrong...South point always fixed the problem and if they couldn't they found someone that did fix it. I send many people to Joe....and all come back saying they would go there again.... I am once again looking and hope something comes available I like.... Being fussy it's hard to satisfy me ....but Joe tries hard.. I am sure some have had bad experiences but my thought on that is maybe they gave bad experiences first...Joe/ Southpoint will do everything they can to insure you are satisfied...after all he is dealing with "Used autos" and doesn't know the car well so he can't be aware of every problem.... Southpoint is our dealer where we got a KIA, BMW, Honda, Chevy and Pick up truck... all but one still running....

In an attempt to keep things fair, I'm going to write this review from a "you can't make everyone happy" perspective. There were very few issues with the vehicles condition, but correction of one of those issues was to be assisted by the dealer sometime after the purchase. I DO believe that that assistance would have been provided by the dealer, but the work in question could not be performed. This resulted in another expense which I paid out of pocket for... not a huge amount, but enough. Shortly after, I had to stop by the dealership for an unrelated matter and used the opportunity to explain my additional expenses. Although the dealer asked how much i wanted, it felt much more like "how much to make you go away". This feeling led me to turn the offer down. Yes, there was compensation right in front of me and i did not accept it. This was the second instance regarding this purchase that I got this kind of attitude. I was not looking for handouts. I don't believe I should have to twist your arm or get any sort of guilt trip in return when someone has already offered assistance. The dealer was very cut and dry from the get go. Sadly, that's one of the few things I liked about my experience. There are no selling games, no hassling and no making friends... which is all fine, if not preferred by me when it comes to business. I say again, this was hardly the end of my world and I now own a vehicle that I like very much. But a bit of professional understanding would have easily made this a good review instead of a poor one. All that being said, I suggest a "expect what you inspect and nothing more" approach if you consider purchasing a vehicle from this dealer.
