I am thankful that some consumers will take the time to warn of a very negative experience that they encountered which will save many buyers the aggra...vation associated with dealing with such a uncaring and badly trained staff !!
I purchased a vehicle at Three Rivers Chrysler Jeep Dodge LLC, West Liberty Ave. 15216, on 7/25/17. I paid cash (personal check $15,500.00) for the ve...hicle/taxes. I was informed AFTER my purchase, the dealership did not have a license plate available. Mike Cutrone (the salesman/GM's son) told me the dealership was expecting more to be delivered within a couple days, but I was asked to use one of their dealer plates, until a plate arrived. I agreed. Days later, I was informed a plate was available, and was asked to drive across town, to have it put on my car. Again, I agreed. After waiting for my owners card and title (almost 2 months), I called PennDot, to see why it was taking so long. PennDot informed me that they had not received any paperwork from the dealership. They could not give me additional information, as the plate and car, was NOT registered in my name. I called the dealership, and spoke with "Mary". Mary went on to say that the dealership had an employee who "screwed things up" the day I purchased my vehicle, but has since quit. Mary went on to say that I was not the only one who had "issues" with their purchase. Mary said the dealership legally has 3 months to "get it straightened out", and for me to "look at the temporary tag on the rear window, for the expiration date". I went on to say that I was told the day I purchased the car, the paperwork was electronically sent in, that exact day, by and according to "Jordan" (who completed the paperwork). Matter of fact, I called the following day to confirm that (spoke with "Jordan"), and again was told, yes. On 9/15, I called PennDot yet again to see if they received the paperwork. PennDot stated they did, just receive the paperwork, but it was not correct. PennDot informed me that they could not register the car in my name, because the license plate is registered to someone else. I was advised to contact the dealership. I immediately called the dealership again, and spoke with "Mary" (9/17). She went on to say that "someone" registered the plate to me, as well as someone else. She said that she was notified of this, but has been very busy, and had not yet taken care of it. She said she tried calling the other person who was issued my license plate, but she could not get in touch with them. Mary asked me to take a photo of my plate, and email it to her, so she could have their "courier service" take it to PennDot immediately (overnight), and get it straightened out. I did just that, and figured at that point, this was resolved. Today (9/26), I called PennDot again, and was informed, they did not receive any paperwork from Three Rivers Chrysler Jeep Dodge LLC, in addition to the original incorrect paperwork. I called "Mary", at the dealership. Mary told me she overnighted the paperwork (on 9/18), via UPS. She said "they should have it", and got rather snippy with me. I told her it was ridiculous that they have not resolved this yet! I explained to her that it was (the dealership) error, not PennDot. She became very irritated, and said it was not her fault. I corrected myself, and said "yes you're right, you SAID you did not do the original paperwork, but you've been the person who I was connected to, to correct this since you became aware of it, back in July". IN addition, you work for the dealership, so you do represent them. She said she "only collects a paycheck" and then transferred me to someone else ("Jackie"), who I could complain to. Jackie picked up the transfer, and asked how she could help me (as I could hear Mary in the background). I asked for the manager/owner, and Jackie stated that Bill Cutrone was the GM, but would not offer the manager/owner name/contact information. She asked if she could help me again, and I told her she could not. I called the GM, Bill Cutrone, and left a detailed voicemail message, and and waiting for a call back with the information PennDot needs, to research the document that Mary said was overnighted, to resolve this issue.
