    Bought truck from Sierra (Ottawa location), have my service done at Coronet (peru location). More than once my scheduled oil change didn’t get done on... time because “they couldn’t find my vehicle” (more like didn’t go out in lot and look for it)! Got new tires a couple weeks ago, went to work (out of town) whole my truck sat at our shop. Come back, spray it off at car wash and see bubbles in one fender, right above the tire (never there before) and scratches and chips above 2 other tires! They all fed me xxxxxxxx saying that it wasn’t from them (but we’ll take it on trade in if that fixes the issue) like I want to buy another vehicle from them, ha. Talked to me like I didn’t have a clue what I was taking about (even after getting opinions from outside body shop) and just denied everything. These are the only issue spots on my truck! (Minus 2 chips I did) which aren’t rusting or anything yet. They’d hardly even look at the damage, like they knew it was their fault. Just kept trying to refer me to THEIR body shop or asking about trading it in. This place is a joke strongly recommend goin somewhere else!

    They lied and tried to sell me a car they never had. I was supposed to view a car from Coronet that they had listed on Cars.com and their site. I was working... with their sister dealer Sierra Motors in Ottawa, IL. Sierra was supposed to have the car I liked at their shop. I get there and see a Jeep, similar to the one I liked but not the same car. I knew right away, they made a mistake. Sierra had me then drive to Peru (a whole other town!) to see the correct jeep. Very frustrated at this point. They claimed they could not bring the jeep I HAD AN APPOINTMENT to see, because 2 other people including someone from St. Louis were coming to see it too. Okay, apparently my business is not as worthy as theirs. Anyhow, we drive to Peru (I really wanted this jeep) and guess what! Coronet says "Sorry....we don't actually have that jeep, we ACCIDENTALLY sent it to an auction house in Morton". Makes NO sense. They take my name and number and claim they will get the car back first thing Monday and call me to "make things right". Sierra dealer says the same thing, wanting to argue over who gets my business. Well NO ONE calls me Monday. I have to call and find out what is going on, come to find out they CLAIM they SOLD the jeep at the auction on Thursday (I was in on Saturday). WTH. Never doing business with ANY Bill Walsh Dealer! Horrible Horrible customer service, and would never recommend anyone to these lying, shady, sneaky salesmen to anyone. I don't believe this car ever existed, I believe it was a bait vehicle because it was listed well below market value.

    We are sorry you feel this way. Cars do sell daily and sometimes they sell before customers can arrive. We do move vehicles between dealerships and th...at can get confusing.     The salesman worked on getting the vehicle we wanted. When the vehicle was ready for pickup the color was wrong and the sirus radio wasn’t in the vehicle.... There is paint over spray on the hood and windshield. With multiple recalls and electrical issues.

    I contacted the dealership via email and phone and told them I was going to drive to see the car and I was going to be traveling over an hour (approx 110... miles) and would be there by 5:30 pm. When I arrived there at 5:15 pm and asked about the car I'd called to come see I was told they'd sold the car about 45 min.s earlier. I was more than a little upset and was told they can't hold cars. I told them I was not upset that they sold the car and didn't call me so I could turn back. They offered to give me some gas and offered to try and sell me another car. What is the point of calling and emailing to make an appointment if the dealership doesn't have the courtesy to call and let you know they sold the car.

    I recently took a two hour drive down to visit Coronet of Peru and honestly had the BEST car buying experience I could have asked for.They definitely made... the trip worth it. We were not treated like a prize amongst the sales staff. The atmosphere was very laid back and relaxed, I did not feel forced into anything at all. Any question that I had about the vehicle were answered. I was even shown honest prices of the competitors, and I knew they were being honest cause I did plenty of homework on the make and model that I was looking for prior to going to Coronet. And when it came to purchasing the vehicle they were amazing. They worked for a good two and a half hours to find a bank that would finance someone with little credit history. I am officially a Coronet of Peru supporter and will suggest to any friends and family that they shop on their website and if they see a car that they are interested in to take to drive down to see them because it will be the best car buying experience they've had or will have.
