Everyone at the dealership was great. Unfortunately the body shop they sent the car to to get a scratch fixed caused a door ding and I had to return again to have that fixed.

BMW of Minnetonka service department delivered a first
BMW of Minnetonka service department delivered a first class experience for me (again) this week. When my tire was punctured driving in St. Paul (large thin rusty strip of metal), I immediately called the dealership and let them know I’d be limping in (thank you, run-flats!). When I arrived, I was greeted by Josh the service manager who already knew why I was there, processed immediately (without appointment), and handed off to Toby (one of their service advisors). After the technician rapidly assessed the car on the lift and sent me a narrated video showing the significantly damaged tire, and Toby presented several tire options (with printed descriptions and pricing), I decided on my new tire purchase and work started right away. It wasn’t long (while I worked in their spacious lobby) before the car was mounted with the new tires, aligned, and ready! The tires are great and the alignment is perfect. Toby, Josh, the technician, and their porters did an exemplary job of turning the disruption of a blown tire into a very positive experience! I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with this service department for years, a huge factor in my choice to keeping going back to BMW of Minnetonka for my cars.

Only Does Local Sales
This dealership just told me they would not sell me a car because I am not local to the dealership, but they are advertising the vehicles nationwide!!! Not sure what that was all about but it is waste of time if you are not in Minnesota. If you are in the business to sell cars, sell the car to the buyer who wants to buy regardless of where they are located!!!

This dealership just told me they would not sell me a car because I am not local to the dealership, but they are advertising the vehicles nationwide!!! Not sure what that was all about but it is waste of time if you are not in Minnesota. If you are in the business to sell cars, sell the car to the buyer who wants to buy regardless of where they are located!!!

Was interested in a used car, spoke with a sales rep
Was interested in a used car, spoke with a sales rep about the vehicle at 10:45 am on a Friday, told the rep that I live an hour and a half away, would leave immediately to come see the car. Get 5 minutes from the dealership, the rep calls and says the vehicle was sold. Wasted 200 miles and 3 hours to see nothing. Crappy business practice to sell a vehicle when they know a customer is coming to look at it from a long distance. Will never give them another opportunity to get my business, neither should anyone else.

Positive experience
I had a very positive experience with my sales person Amy Mattick. She followed up to make sure I was comfortable with the features on my new x5. I have bought an x5 before from the dealership and have always have good experiences. I would recommend Minnetonka BMW and Amy Mattick.
