Poor follow up

had a good experience setting up an appointment and test driving the car. But had two issues that soured my experience with TSG. First, when I was looking at the car the sales person assured me the Toyota Tacoma came with a 6 cylinder engine and he repeatedly assured us when I brought my son to look at the car that it was a 6 cylinder. I didn't have any reason to doubt him and since the truck had limited mile on it and still was on warranty I didn't take it to my mechanic to confirm what the truck was. Imagine my surprise when I took it to the dealer and was told they don't see many of these 4 cylinder engines. I would not have bought the car as the towing capacity is half as much as the 6cylinder. Also the Carfax pricing stated it was a great deal but when you plug the actual specifications of the truck into KBB the price average to above average. When I tried to call the dealership to discuss was transferred to the sales managers phone. To date I have left 5 messages and have heard nothing. My second issue was when I bought the truck they took my license to make copies. The next day I realized my license was missing and didn't recall getting it back. I called the salesman left a message inquiring if he had it. I received no answer. I called the main switchboard and the receptionist took my information and said they would call if they had the license. I never heard back so I got a replacement license, after standing in line at the DMV for heater than 3hrs, not an easy task in this Covid environment. A week later I had to stop by the Dealership and the salesperson casually come up saying he has my license. Very annoying. Before I bought the truck he was very attentive calling frequently but after the sale it has been Crickets from the dealership. For a dealership that has supposedly won all these awards for being best in the Country their service and follow through is poor. All said and done I Agee with the other reviews they are just like every other used car lot, kind of dishonest and out for the sale only.

Very poor financial system

Initially this seemed like a great transaction, however, is that it has been a month, and my prior loan has STILL not been paid off, the bank my last loan was with has turned the loan over to collections!!!! We contacted TSG and they stated there was a 10 day hold period after purchasing a vehicle prior to payoff, yet it was purchase Feb 18th. Absolutely unacceptable. Not to mention they are wanting me to come in now and pay almost $200 for their under payoff. This is very poor financial practice. Pretty sure in the grand scheme of making money, a business would realize they should not take so long to pay off loans. I am absolutely furious about this, especially since I have already set up payment for the new vehicle!!!! Their good reviews are because they ask you to leave a review before you leave, the day you purchase.

Justin and Jay were simply awesome!

Justin and Jay made this car buying experience a breeze! Justin was energetic and great to work with; not even a bit pushy. Jay helped us with the loan paperwork; aside from being a super friendly guy, he made the loan process short and stress-free. I would definitely recommend them and would go back to them for my next vehicle.


BUYING my wife a suburban

I live in New Mexico and I traveled all this way for a 2012 suburban for my wife! We've been wanting a suburban for years now and could not find a good deal because of the price they go for! Here at TSG was the best deal and the dream rig my wife has been looking for! Thanks DEAN JOHNSON for making this trip and car buying experience very easy and hassle free!

Great Experience!

The best experience ever buying a car. I didn't have to haggle; they didn't jerk me around over price. They also respected me and my time . Justin was easy to relate to and didn't have that used sales car guy fake persona that is so evident in the industry. I hope he stays that way! I would definitely recommend this dealership.
