They had a nice looking truck that caught my eye. I should have not purchased it. An hour after I picked it up I go to fill the tank. All of a sudden I... hear and see gas coming out of the tank. Took it back and had to wait since it was the weekend. Turned out the fuel pump seal was bad. Pick it up and take it to my mechanic for inspection. Come to find out that the undercarriage had holes. Costed me $1000 to fix that issue. I sent him pictures of the mess. Do you think he would offer to compensate me in any way. Of course not. And now all of a sudden my front end is clanking so more money I'll have to spend unless the warranty he claims I have will cover it. We will see. Have to wait and see what it is. So please just go to a more reputable dealer.
Spencer made me feel welcomed and at ease. In an unrushed manner he went over the van i had called about. I test drove the vehicle, but decided to take... some time to think about. Now, not being too mechanically inclined I asked the shop that's serviced my cars for years if theyd look it over. I called Spencer back...he said sure. So, i had the car better part of the day. Erv my mechanic went over everything and re commended several things be repaired. I came back to P&H , said I'd liked the van but explained what my mechanic found. Well, Spencer agreed to do all the requested repairs on the van...for no additional cost! This is someone I can do business with! Not only that, I would refer a friend here. Hope this helps. There still are honest , hard working people...if you look.
Went to look at two cars. Spencer was very nice, informative, and provided non pressured opportunity to test drive the cars.
After reading some of the reviews I was very skeptical about P&H, but they had what I was looking for in a car. So, I went over and could have been more... glad I did. After speak with a kind gentleman I learned that they’re under new management and have a new approach to selling cars. My experience was great, quick and painless to say the least. I even sent my brother over to purchase a car.
I didn't even step foot on their lot because of the type of costumer service they had. First, the sales rep didn't even answer the phone, the mechanic... did. He told me that the sales rep had to go deliver a car but the car that I was inquiring about is still available. Whatever that means. They said they would call back in a half an hour. It was two hours until I called back and the sales rep still isn't there aparently. On top of that, it turned out that the vehicle I wanted was not available and he asked did I want to exploer other options. I HUNG UP! If they can't be upfront about simple availablilty, what makes you thing they are going to be honest about a car. LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR A CAR!!!
This is a great place if your looking for a good deal and don't have to finance. Jim and Dave were very helpful and I would buy from again.
Stopped on my way home from work - looked at a vehicle that was parked three cars back. In dealer's defense, it was after 5:30 PM and I believe they close... at 6 PM. Asked about a test drive; was told - if you're going to buy it, I will move the other cars but am not moving them out unless you're buying. Um. How do I know if I am going to buy it without having the opportunity to take it for a quick ride? Second salesperson was nicer, didn't seem rushed. But - after first guy, I didn't bother asking about the vehicle I wanted to test drive. Anyway - went down to Jacksonville Road (pretty much around the corner) to another dealer and bought a vehicle from him on the spot. Won't go back to P&H because I don't reckon they need my business. If that's how they interact with potential customers, not confident it would be any more professional or thorough if I had a post-sale problem.
Emailed dealer multiple times about a truck that seemed too good to be true. Also called their number that was provided. No call back.
Saw truck online, sent multiple emails with no response. that was 3 weeks ago and truck is still listed. Obviously a sham.
I have purchased 2 cars from P & H Motors--a 2005 BMW 325xi and a 2011 Mercedes Benz C300. I purchased the BMW in 2009, drove it for 2 1/2 years (approximately... 30,000 miles) and sold it for the same price I paid for it. I purchased the MB C300 in July 2012 and absolutely love it. Both vehicles were purchased in "as-is" condition and I paid well below market price. I will certainly buy from this dealer again in the future, as I haven't been able to find another dealer that can touch their prices. I am a very happy customer!
