I recently purchased a pre-owned Bentley Continental GT from Jakes and found the experience to be first rate. I was considering several different makes... of cars, including the Bentley. The sales agent was especially helpful as he knew a great deal about the makes and models I was considering and was very candid and knowledgeable. As I was buying the car long distance and not able to see or drive the car, I was taking a considerable risk, given the expense. However, when the car arrived, it was exactly as represented and I am delighted with it and the service provided by Jakes.
I had been on the market for a Lamborghini Gallardo for several months. After much research and patience I stumbled upon Jake’s. I dealt with Mike in sales... from the get-go and he is awesome. We communicated mostly via text which was my preference and he replied to my every request timely and effectively, even on his day off. He took additional photos for me when requested and did whatever he needed to in order to make sure the car was the right car for me. Mike quickly proved to be not your typical salesman. He worked hard to build trust with me and offered his honest opinions regardless of the outcome of the sale. He coordinated my having the clear bra installed offsite and also made sure the car was properly placed on the truck for transport across country to Boston. Mike is a true professional and a gentlemen. My next exotic car and everyone there after will be from Jake’s without a doubt. The finance team was also very helpful and expedient. The whole process was painless. I guess you can say I am a satisfied customer, and I am not the easiest one to please.
I just bought a Range Rover from Jake’s Motorcars and the experience was first-class at every level. As a successful serial entrepreneur who has a deep... appreciation of what it takes to build and run a successful business and an avowed car nut - my wife’s words but I can’t disagree given the wide array of high-end, custom and vintage vehicles I’ve owned over the years – I’ve always been skeptical of doing business with an independent late model year car dealer such as Jake’s. But after meeting with and transacting a deal with Jake (hands-on owner), Mike (awesome sales guy) and their support staff I can’t say enough good things about my experience and trust me they had a big hurdle to get over given my preconceived notions about independent auto dealers. I had the pleasure of visiting Jake’s showroom in-person on multiple occasions prior to purchasing my first vehicle from them and on every occasion I was treated with respect in a friendly no pressure atmosphere while perusing the wide array of beautiful vehicles that fill their showroom. As a business owner myself, I’ve come to understand that despite one’s best efforts and intentions that things will go wrong and that one’s firm should be measured by how they respond to and handle such matters not if they occur. My transaction and experience was seamless and wonderful but after working with Jake, Mike and their support staffs I have no doubt if there ever were an issue that I’d be well taken care of because Jake runs a tight ship and an excellent business. I rarely, if ever, write reviews of any type but I felt compelled to do so this time based on my wonderful experience and that my preconceived notions were proven to be totally invalid. So net, net, if you are considering buying a car from Jake’s I highly recommend them!
Bought a 2014 RR Ghost from Rick at Jake's who was awesome... he was so patient with us as we were buying sight unseen and out of state. The car was delivered... in to Texas very quickly and was exactly as described. Rick went beyond the call of duty to make sure we were happy and understood everything. We did encounter a couple of issues after we drove it a little which were taken care of immediately by Oscar the Service Manager.. they went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend Jake's Motorcars Five stars for sure !! Thanks Rick & Oscar !!
On my request, Jake’s moved the car to the local AM dealer for pre inspection and certification. Car passed with flying colors. Flew to San Diego after... agreeing on a price for the Rapide. The actual sale took only 30 mins. No muss, no fuss. Will definitely do business again with Jake’s.
I feel compelled to write this review as I do not recommend anyone purchase or fly to see a vehicle from this dealership. I flew from Dallas to San Diego... to view a used Lamborghini Gallardo which I was told was in immaculate condition from the car salesman there Eli. After landing at the San Diego Airport, I was notified just prior to seeing the car that the oil pressure malfunction light came on the day before. Eli reassured me that the car was in excellent condition. After taking a test drive, I was initially hesitant to even pay for a vehicle inspection because this malfunction had not been disclosed prior to me flying to the see the vehicle. Eli knew that I had a scheduled appointment to have the car inspected by Lamborghini La Jolla and reassured me that I would find no further issues with the car. I decided maybe he was being truthful and this light just happened to come by coincidence on the day prior to my arrival. I spent $500 on an inspection at Lamborghini La Jolla which had so many issues during the inspection that there was no way I could purchase the vehicle. These issues per the report included: (1) Oil pressure light on with oil temperature on the dash at the max (2) There was a short in a ground wire or possible incorrect sending unit (3) Ebrake handle needed adjustment (4) The clutch position and clutch reference position both had negative numbers (5) Error noted in the sport program button circuit (6) The incorrect tires were placed on the vehicle (7) The brakes were concluded as soft and recommend to be bleeded and retested. (8) The calipers were spray painted over from the wheels which were apparently painted black while still on the car. (9) No service records were available and no history of the car ever being serviced at a Lamborghini dealership These were just a few of a long list of problems with the car. Eli explained that Lamborghini apparently finds issues and problems with their cars because they are the direct competition. But any right minded individual buying an exotic is going to have it inspected at the actual dealership prior to making a purchase so this a mute point. I did ask for a refund of the money I paid to get the car inspected and the flight as I did not have full disclosure of the oil pressure light and various mechanical issues but was denied this. I am therefore filing a claim with the better business bureau and will be leaving reviews on nearly every website. I am dissatisfied with the customer service and lack of professionalism of Jake's Motorcars. I feel it is unreasonable to not fully disclose malfunction lights and issues a car has prior to a customer taking the day off from their job and flying out to attempt to make a purchase. Jake's motorcars does not seem to believe in customer satisfaction but I do know that word of mouth is the best form of advertising. I also know that a dissatisfied customer impacts the reputation of a company faster than any excellent marketing or advertisement. I do not recommend anyone purchasing a vehicle from or even visiting this dealership.

I was somewhat concerned about buying a car from 1200 miles away but I'm totally satisfied. It was a great experience made possible by you.
I was looking for a 2016 GT3RS, when Jake’s Motorcars posted a beautiful black PTS model. From my first call to the delivery from San Diego to Emerald... Isle, NC everything was and went perfect! My salesman, Rick was so awesome, he ensured the car made it to Blackforest to receive a PPI, then also to the Porsche of San Diego to obtain a DME Report. There was never any pressure or issues. I was kept informed and more importantly treated with respect. I flew to San Diego for the final inspection and Rick picked me up at the airport and ran me to the dealership and around town, then to my hotel. Absolutely, first class service. The shipper they chose was absolutely the best, my GT3RS arrived as new. If you’re considering an exotic or high end luxury car, Jake’s has a large inventory and from my perspective they all looked great. What I liked is they also have an in store service and detail dept. Sherrie, who is the Administrative Specialist , took great care of me as well...the paper work and title process could not had been any easier. Jake’s Motorcars delivered a 100% positive experience... Eventhough they’re on the West Coast and I’m in the East...as easy and efficient as they made it, they have my future business!!! Jake's gained a customer for life. I consistently looked at Jake's website and was astonished at the quantity and quality of their inventory. The cars... don't have a mark on them. I was offered a very fair price and agreed to buy my car. Then, it was off to what usually is a mountain of paperwork. I was out the door in 15 minutes. Mike was exceptional to deal with and everyone of the staff members is friendly and professional. I literally will not consider going anywhere else for future needs.
