I was looking for an E350 in a specific color combo with the Premium Packages 1 & 2. I found Cox & Co Motorcars on Cars.com. I was impressed by the Cox website and how many Mercedes they had and how they were mostly low mileage and seemed to be clean and were priced right. Cox had the exact vehicle I was looking for and it had a clean Carfax and only 11k miles. I found mostly positive reviews on this company and an A+ Nashville BBB rating. I could find no complaints on this company from either the State nor the City. I called and spoke with the owner, Mark, and found him to be professional, friendly, and very knowledgable. He took all the time I needed to be comfortable with the car, price, warranty and purchase process. I sent him an overnight check to hold the car until I could finance it. I originally planned on flying to Nashville to pick the car up...Mark said he would pick me up at the airport...but later decided to have it shipped. It was shipped on Saturday morning and was in Colorado on Monday afternoon...wow! The vehicle was 100% as advertised...extremely clean and low mileage. However, the car did have only one FOB. Mark said that Mercedes Financial would replace it as part of the original lease, and if they didn't, he would. I must admit, I was a little concerned about buying a car, sight unseen, on the Internet. As I spoke with Mark and his associate, Brandon, I became convinced they were the real deal. I would recommend this dealership to anyone and plan on looking for a replacement here when my BMW comes off lease.

Mark has a lot of good reviews here. I will simply explain my experience and let anyone else make their own determination. He has good condition pre-leased Mercedes vehicles, this comprises the vast majority if not most of inventory. His prices are market, not wholesale, but cars are in good condition and we found the vehicle we wanted to buy, he didn't require a speck of work on his end. He is a nice guy, smooth talker, very professional, no pressure salesperson and owner. Upon delivery a week later, he was asked to have fixed a bad scratch in wood above glove box and touch up on mirror, which appeared to be done. He got in the car with us and the first things he said was that the manuals were in the car in the back, so we did not look for them. He explained he had only one key fob and that "Financial" would send the other key with the title. He showed us the COMAND system and we left with the car. Here are the results: 1. the manuals were not with the car - the back end had been stripped, no manuals, no first aid kit, only a spare tire with no tools or tool set, glove box bare. 2. the title came 2 weeks later with no key. he then said "oh", then we have to go order the key from MB in person with the title and driver's license (we work in medicine 60 hours a week). I leave work, go order the key, taking time off from work. the key comes in and we are told we have to make a separate appt a week later for 3 hours to program the key, another half day off. 3. I wipe down the inside of the car 2 days later and the scratch immediately appears, meaning they wiped some armor all over it to hide the fact it was not repaired. 4. I then learn he is not sending a plate, but we have to take the title again to get a license plate. my wife goes to do that, and she learns her name was not put on the title, so she cannot get the plate, and that also she needs to take the car for an emissions inspection. she goes to do that, and now I have to go in person to get the plates while she has to work, taking more time off from work. At some point soon, we will have actually taken delivery of this car, having done all the work and over 1000.00 of personal productivity time from work so we can take the car safely with 2 keys and plates on a vacation, 6 weeks after we purchased the vehicle. I have purchased used and previously leased cars, and have never left a lot with no keys, manuals, aid kits and tools, license plates and emissions taken care of and mailed to me. I've never had to make several trips at my cost and time to actually drive the car safely and legally. What we received from Mark Cox in terms of service was a string of polite emails tapped on his cell phone making it sound like this was some normal process and just couldn't understand why we don't have a second key or manuals, etc. while we travail all over the city attempting to simply drive the car. When I asked him for contact for "financial" to have them send a key which I do not think exists, he did not respond with that information. If they had a key, they could easily overnight it to us. There is no way he would receive all the good comments here and treated his customers in the same way. That's our verifiable experience. You've been warned. Don't leave with your car until you have checked that everything is in order and understand while the car is the main thing we all are looking for, true service is not defined being being "nice" but in customer experience and relations in delivering the vehicle.
Medical Professional, In each communication, I offered to assist you in any way. It was not a matter of being "polite", I sincerely meant it. When we didn't receive your second key from Mercedes-Benz Financial, I offered to purchase you a replacement. When you emailed me 30 days after your purchase to say that you couldn't find your books, I offered to send you a second set. When I asked where you would like them mailed (because you said you were travelling), you never responded. I offered to send you another 30 day temporary tag, so that you would not be rushed with your registration. Again, you didn't respond. I have asked you in several emails to please call me so that we can discuss any issues and how I can better assist you. However, you have never called me back. When you told me that the car had not been properly inspected, I stated that Mercedes-Benz of Nashville had just serviced and inspected the car (as we do with each car), and I would be happy to have them address any of your concerns. Again, no response from you. I take tremendous pride in our cars and the way we do business. When we fail in delivering exceptional service, we make every attempt to address and correct the issue. Despite my efforts, I don't know that it is possible to meet your expectations. Regardless, I'm still a phone call away and happy to assist you. Mark Cox
